@Dogfacerawr Haha that mirror is the most horrible thing I've ever seen on a bike! It's all rusty and nasty, I've got some bar ends to replace it, I'l fit them along with the new heated grips in the next few weeks :)
@JacqueMelvin Hey Jac thanks I try to keep my videos interesting enough so that even people who don't have a particularly big interest in bikes, engines etc. can still enjoy them and maybe still pick up some things that they find interesting :)
@SniperWill I just hate cleaning them, oiling them, adjusting them, and whenever I have to take the back wheel off a bike they are nothing but an oily mess that seems to be impossible to get back on without fuss. It wouldn't put me off buying a bike if it had a chain, but I view it as a bonus if has shaft or belt drive. I've had 2 bikes with chain drive, 1 with belt drive and this is my first with a shaft drive bike, so far so good. :)
@gpzDave thats true i remember when i was driving once there was a guy on a suzuki gsxr revving his engine like an idiot, and doing wheelies and his chain broke off. lol I think he didnt oil it enough though because when he accelerated it sounded like metal clanging together.
@gpzDave lol i hope so im going to pick one up this winter, hopefully they might go on sale but i highly think that won't happen. lol please excuse me for my terrible grammar soooooooo tired.
@shinyfuzzy Both the heads look OK to me, they both have those plastic protectors on them which look quite sturdy. It rides perfect though so I'm pretty sure it is mechanically sound.
@bartonlane I'm looking forward to seeing what this bike is like, BMW's are supposed to be good machines to own, time will tell and I'll keep you all posted. :)
Tough bikes I've seen them with over 80.000 0n them and this one looks nice, as for the panniers, wet and dry and a can of spray paint they will look great:)
@MO3MINI Haha thanks Dan ;) I can fit a big tin of fence paint in either side and loads of hand tools, but yes I'm yet to work out how to get a mower on there! :D
Very nice bike dave good choice , if I had seen that for sale I might have bought it at that price ;) , will watch for you around Glenrothes should be easy to spot you now :)

Dave that screen is crying out for a RiderScan mate, the more info the better :))).
What MPG you getting with that as that I believe is very important with the current price of oil and everything else. Ride Safe
2wheelsteve 2 months ago
@2wheelsteve I'm not sure what mpg the bike gets, maybe 55mpg, just a guess. Maybe I will put a RiderScan on that screen one day :)

Is one of those mirrors on the right side of the bike for checking yourself out while you're riding? :D

Oh i also was wondering when you had your honda cbr 250r how often did you have to do maintenance? Btw your bmw is nice. :)
SniperWill 6 months ago
@SniperWill Hehe I've never owned a CBR250R :) I just had it for a 1hr test ride, but I imagine that it would be an easy bike to maintain. :)

ive got a feeling its been crashed b4
shinyfuzzy 6 months ago
@shinyfuzzy Maybe a light low speed drop but it's in good mechanical order, I'm not too worried, it's a tough old beast! ;)
gpzDave 6 months ago
@gpzDave the cool part about this bike is that when u do crash u smash ur engine not ur plastics. is one of the heads cleaner than the other?
