I've watch the movie before it is so sad at the end when Bruno and Shmuel die And I also think the movie has a piont to it. That Bruno keeps trying his best to help his friend by handing him healthy food even on his hardest times. And Shmuel shows repect and forgives Bruno even though he get's beaten by a german soldier for him.

I first saw this movie right before I turned 12 and I thought it would be a movie about a little boy spying on his sister while she had a sleep-over and then the friends doing something bad to him... Something like that. I was too lazy to read the description in the little info box and I hadn't read the book. So once I saw the Nazi signs, I was like, "Oh boy. I know I'm gonna cry when this is over." And I did... WAY more than I expected.

Bruno finds it, makes friends with an 8 year old inmate called Schmuell (i dont know if i spelled that right!). 1 day, schmuell loses his dad, the 2 boys go looking for him, then - well, if u dont know the ending all ready then send a message to me and ill tell u .

This is a really, really BAD film. When I say bad, I mean painful. The acting is atrocious and the director missed the entire plot. The film should have been about two boys building up a relationship, but it was 95% about a family moving to another house in the country. The boys only met 4 times in the film. It was a shambles and surely one of the top 5 mis-hits this year. It looked as if it had a budget of about 70p.

this seems to be one of the best films ever produced and I can't wait to watch it in full. I have read the book 3 times and I will never be able to stop crying at the end.
