  • Go flash

  • Wally is way better then Barry!

  • the original oppening's duration is 4 days 6 hours and 5:47 seconds...

flash made it 37 seconds long :)

  • Flash is made of superluminic neutrinos

  • Ted Baxter FTW!

  • A man who can alter his quantum molecular structure, travel at the speed of light or through time itself, uses his amazing abilities to squash larger-than-average insects?

Give me Dr. Sheldon Cooper = Best Flash Ever.

  • I have always wondered if that was Ted Knight narrating?

  • Flash is my favorite superhero EVER. And that means Barry Allen, he was better than Wally.

  • i haert flash and yes im a girl

  • The Fastest Man Alive!!! n__n I Love The Flash!!! =D

  • All the flashing screens made me have a seizure. Whom do I sue?

  • why are his gloves yellow instead of lightning bolts and red?

  • ....0:25-the 1st Orkin man

  • jason statham was flash before in the 90's

  • WHO YOU GONNA CALL WHEN EVIL-DOER BUG COMES FOR YOU?!

  • dat speedforce

  • He's so fast he's faster than his animators!! Hurray!!

  • I didn't know about this cartoon. A bit before my time. Is that Ted Knight doing the narration?

  • @dowhatthouwilt911 Yes, it is. He did a lot of the narration and even some of the character voices on the show.

  • Apparently he punches out giant cochroaches

  • Did any1 saw him...? all I can see is " FLASHHHHFSZGPZPJFJPFGSAPFGAMFPASGMSAPGMSPGN MSOGNDASPVPZMVPZNVDPIGJNIRWJGPSZ HOOOOM,MMM INTERSEXOSPEEDOGALACTICOFHOOMMMMMSHIT" ...

  • In the pursuit of evil-doers,...

    ...beats up a bug.

  • @Vengeance31

yeah thats good. Think about it IF it was against communists OR other countries.

People would be saying it was "US propaganda"

Dumb fucks today still Think the us Government controlls & did controll "ALL aspects of TV" 50's - 2010. & they didn't, still DON'T

  • zoom zoom zoom!

  • Retromania!!

  • Where did it say Flash got his Costume from?

  • @jayce79 from a secret compartment in his ring. By pressing a hidden switch, the costume is released. It's treated with a chemical that causes it to expand on contact with the air. Then when he removes it, it's again sprayed with the chemical which shrinks it down (and also somehow folds it) and a tiny vaccuum sucks it back into his ring compartment. At least, that's how DC Comics says it's done. Hope that explains it for you.

  • i didnt know the flash could time travel

  • yep he uses a running manchine

  • Yeah he can. What gets me is that superman can time travel :O

  • and turn back time as in the movie. have you ever seen the superman vs flash book. its fucking sweet

  • @1BlueThunder3 No I havent I'll have to look into it. Sounds pretty epic though and yeah. Only in the movie :(

  • Filmation famous for cheap cartoon.

  • So cool.

  • flash is my fave superhero :D

  • My fave flash is the one with the funny hat :D

  • I wonder if Ted Knight ever said "What is this crap??" before reading the copy. :)

  • Considering his "body of work" before he was cast as Ted Baxter, "this crap" was just another paycheck just like his other roles. It's not like he was a star. Of course, as "Ted Baxter" TK became a recognizeable comic star.

  • @kneejerker True. But I have since learned that he was friends with Norm Prescott of Filmation, which is how he got the job. Lots of actors did it for the paycheck. Nothing wrong with that. Alec Guinness thought Star Wars was a load of crap, but he was greatful to George Lucas for the cut of the gross he received.

  • @ericinwisconsin Correction. Ted Knight was friends with Lou Scheimer.

  • @Scarletspeedster68 You're right. I stand corrected. Thanks!

  • Nice intro, but those flashing backgrounds might be bad if you have epilepsy

  • I'm collecting DVD anmiation now. I wish I could get all of the really old stuff to have a full collection. I'd think it be great!

  • Pretty impressive intro i wish i had one!

  • looks old, but still pretty cool.

  • Someone needs to download the original version of this video and make an AMV with Linkin Park to it.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Someone give me the steps so I can become the flash and then go rob banks.

  • just breath hard water (jay garrick)

have a lightning bolt hit certain chemicals (barry allen & wally west)

  • i did knew filmation has so many releases and id never thought of flash...ive seen the batman and this looks great!

  • Cool

  • How he could pass through walls?? I thought his only super power was the incredible speed...

  • He vibrated his molecules... He could also travel faster than light, and through time.

  • Although considered fast in the 1960's, The Flash only ran a 4.8 40 yard dash and was once beat by Mercury Morris in the 100 yard dash.

  • i never knew his suit came from inside his ring

  • Well, where was he going to put it? He's not like Superman (who wore his suit underneath his work clothes) or any other hero from the JLA (except Kid Flash from the Teen Titans), so his ring was the best place to put his superhero suit.

  • lol he'll probably get his own movie too. i know Captain America is in the works and they're doing another Hulk movie, I don't think it's a sequel because Edward Norton is the Hulk this time and he seems all confused about his powers. Every super hero seems to be coming back as a movie star

  • this guy below me must be a born again christian

  • He did that on nearly every Filmation intro vid i think. I'm a christian, but you don't see me converting cartoons to our religion, so I marked his conversion comment as spam AFTER giving it a thumbs down. What he did was creepy.

  • why is it that your quoting scriptures for a cartoon. i don't see your point, "enlighten" me please.

  • Jesus said to his disciples: Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. All person in the world need to take a decition for Jesus Christ. When someone accept Jesus in his heart as Saviour and Lord (Revelation 3:20) he begins to run the career of faith to go to the goal: the kingdonm of God, the New Earth and new Heavens. Flash is a symbol of christians run this career. Acts 20:24

  • okay, thanks. i'm a christian too, i just couldn't see the point of your scripture references here. good job though, keep up the work and don't let anyone disuade you.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • any1 no a site were we can veiw full eps of this & any other filmation toons ty :)

  • You might want to visit my page for some full length episodes or click on the links to other users who might have them.

  • This Flash was Barry Allen. In Justice League Unlimited Wally West was The Flash. Great cartoon series.

  • And in the comics, Barry and Wally were brother in-laws (Barry was married to Iris West, Wally's sister).

  • I didn't know that. thank you for the information since I only knew of Flash as Barry Allen and how he became the Flash when a chemicals fell on him by a lighting strike in Barry's office at the police station.

  • You're welcome. And no doubt, the same freak accident that happened to Barry also happened to Wally.

  • Thank you for the information.

  • You're welcome. And as I type, the new DC Comics Superheroes DVD just came out last month. I need to check it out myself as these episodes debuted a year before born.

  • Actually, Wally was Barry's wife's nephew.

  • Man, Ted Knight must have had ALL the VO work back in the '60s...

  • Not all of them; Jackson Beck, who once was the voice of Bluto/Brutus in the Popeye cartoons, narrated the Superman and Superboy segments. He also was the voice of Perry White and later served as the narrator for G.I. Joe during the 1980s.

  • you know what, i hate that narrator, i don't know just

doesn't have a good feel after you hear over and over

    again.

  • It was Ted Knight, who played Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore Show...

  • He did voice overs on some of the Filmation shows but was dropped by Filmation at the urging of Fred Silverman, who was running CBS daytime during this period. In fact, Knight sued Filmation for about $40,000 though he later worked on Lassie's Rescue Rangers as the voice of Ben Turner, Sr., leader of the Forest Force.

  • flash rulez!, the ring custome appear in justice league unlimited too XD

  • brings back memories
