This is a problem that people believe Bush wanted the Iraqi war. This is the failed American intelligence agency, which provides wrong information to the executive office. Powell was the one who argued that Iraqis had carried nuclear weapons (I hope you remember that). The Bush administration wanted to make sure CIA had the authentic report on Saddams intentions, and the agency signed twice before state of the Union(February 2003). Then CIA director George Tenet resigned.

I've always respected Gen. Powell, despite his service to the Bush Administration. He was serving his country then, just as he always has and is an honorable man.

I have even more respect for him now. He's probably the only person in the country who would undoubtedly win the Presidency regardless of who his opponent was. Powell is great. I'm Australian but when I first came to know of him soon after 911 I thought what an amazing person. I would have loved to see him as President one day.
