Ok first of all Green Day sucks balls, and can't you just see and hear, strummer goes off on this version if "I fought the law" Green Day on the other hand sucked at it, an I'm just now hearing they covered hybrid moments as well..! How can you even say that billies voice is better than danzigs. U don't know shit! Green day are sellouts. The clash were always broke and mick and joe were always inland out of jail.

I'm an old Green Day fan, but I just see more energy and masculinity in The Clash's version. It's just like a rough song that needs to be yelled out, but the reason I don't like Green Day's version is because he tried to sing it well and sacrifices the energy of it. Also the guitar playing isn't as epic. This is the only song I like from The Clash though...
