  • OMG NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD O.O

  • THAT GUITAR IS AWESOME

  • The SNES has 7 music channels, and on Plok! they had to use only 5 to keep the other 2 available for sound effects - and they still kicked the ass of pretty much all other SNES music!

  • @einootspork The SNES has 8 audio channels, not 7. Either way, the music in Plok! is fantastic.

  • This is pretty damn sick for an SNES theme! So groovy!

  • So....damn...groovy!

  • Who does this Plok think he is planting his flags all over the island, anyway? Bit of a dictator, wouldn't you say?

  • @splendidmonkey Haha, I never saw it that way. But you can see it in the look of his eyes. "Ach! Where ist mein Flag!?"

  • sounds like a track from an amiga game. and the amiga "only" has 4 music channels. never played this game though

  • what this game about?

  • @MaxRideWizardLord If yous till care, it´s about Plok. Plok is a creature that can shoot his arms and legs like boomerangs. He planted flags all over his beloved island but... gasp! One day his favourite flag was stolen. So he went on his quest to reacclaim his most precious flag. But when he succeded he had to face a far greater horror.....

  • I mean, I was obsessed with this game....

  • FFFFFFFFFFF, Nostalgia.

  • so awesome

  • lemme guess Follin Bros.

  • According to a rumor, Shigeru Miyamoto heard this tune, and could not believe it was coming out of an unmodified SNES.

  • @IYellalot Legends states that he also began to play this game. Because of the immense level of awesomeness of the game, he crapped himself. Normally, one would quit there and clean up but he knew his duty as Plok was much greater. Everything from lips to assholes, fleas to flea eggs had to be dealt with for fucking with Plok's shit. It was said that Mr.Miyamoto beat the game to not only win a Guinness World record, but moved a nation to freedom under the notion that, "You don't fuck with Plok."

  • @IYellalot lies. all lies.

  • hahahaha I was gonna say that he looked like that or an executioner, I have no idea why they voted you down for that. Great game too

  • is this game on Wii virtual yet?

  • I wish.

  • hardest game ever. and one of the best on the SNES

  • You seem to have an extraordinary difficulty with spelling and video games if you think that Battletoads is the most difficult game.

  • @WeaselWarDance7

it is hahaha its up there anyway, it may be a short game but i agree with whoever ur talking to

  • cant forget the mega man x series

  • Battletoads on Nintendo? SNES Battletoads was easy...the hardest part on the NIntendo one is the bikes.

  • Clinger Winger says hi.

  • @Thandros84, shut up Irving! (I've been waiting to do that =D)

  • fucking awesome check the acoustic guitar sample and the electric guitar or harmonica stuff Tim Follins is just Awesome ^^ he doing impossible thing with limited chip hardware ^^ and have awesome guitar skills i think for doing that with small piece of homemade sample.

  • Plock is the best game. 10 years playing plock and now I had beat it. The music is so cool i have it on my i pod.

  • lol me too it lightens my day hearing this music

  • what website did u get the music from?

  • I recorded it with my camera and exported only the audio

  • I have it on my ipod too it's really awesome :)

  • Yeah the music made the game for me too. It was just too hard for me. I could always get to the second island where the queen was but I never got any further. I wonder if I'm any good now...

  • really crazy that they could get it to sound just like a harmonica and a guitar with the SNES's music channels.

  • The music is whay made the game for me!

Bizarrely the guy who made it hated video games.

  • Possibly the most obscure fact i've ever heard on a videogame. Where did you find that comment?

    ;)

  • It was in an interview with the guy himself, Tim Follin in an old issue of the SNES magazine "Super Play".

He;'s warmed up a bit to them since, but he made the music so great in a bid to be recognised as a musician for TV and in movies.

  • PLOK FOREVER!

  • hard game man just played it today =) and will do again but the musics cool
