All modern version are derived from that original one, but this "Jesus loves the little children" song was approved by the author after the war, as the soldiers had all been liberated by then..

I love 'em too, their innocence, their lack of knowledge of right and wrong. We, as the older children of God, are to teach them the right ways (the way of Jesus) bring 'em up with all the values of Jesus Christ and bring them closer to Him.
