since this is not to come to america we need to all send nintendo messages complaining that it's not here. I already sent one and they said that they would consider it.
It's has been announced by nintendo of america that it will not be released in north america. even though tecmo wants to release it here there is nothing they can do about it because nintendo owns the rights to this game. it sucks.
yeah....BUT there is currently a team of fans collaborating to make a version with english subtitles and text that may or may not be released in North America and the UK.
bc the game was too scary for the head of nintendo! the game scared the shit outta him and his family. and i bet alot of little kids parents nagged about the game being to too scary so thats why. its sad bc i love the game

Many good Nintendo games were released for Playstation as well. "Tales of Symphonia" for example is not only available for Gamecube but also got a ps2 release. The same with "Harvest Moon - A Wonderful Life" which even here in Germany(!!) got a ps2 release.
Let's hope for a Fatal Frame IV ps3 game... wanna have it, too.

Even though I'm a huge fan of FF series, I wouldn't waste my money on Wii just to play one game. Plus, everyone knows that FF4 isn't gonna get as famous as the rest of the games of the series, cause most FF fans turned to Sony. Ah well. It's the developers' loss of money and effort to release it on this console.

the game looks great, glad its wii exclusive aswell as it means it might actually have better gameplay than last gen controllers allow for etc, just as long as they use the wii controller well etc, then this game should be great

Ok, for all of you that are saying it's going to be toned down, it's not, this game is going to be rated M (so the chances of making this game a "family game" are zero), and besides Nintendo is not making this game, it's only publishing it, you remeber the game Eternal Darkness, it was published by Nintendo and it was scary and bloody as well and plus there has been many scary games on the Nintendo platforms, like the Resident Evil Remake (that was the scarriest RE and it was on the Gamecube)

Bigger series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill can withstand an exclusive or two, but Fatal Frame? Not so much. (How often do you hear most people talking about Fatal Frame? I haven't met a single person in real life that's even heard of the series, and hasn't been introduced to it by me!)
that's because Tecmo really sucks at advertising, all of their game are really hard to find and most people don't know about their games, and this event (the series being ported to the wii) might actually help Tecmo, because Nintendo is really good at advertising. Plus many wii owners are complaining the lack of hardcore games there are in the wii ( I'am one of those people). So I doubt Nintendo will let this series die, and it might even buy the series from Tecmo
OK, I see your point now. I still don't think it's a good idea to make it an exclusive, now... even though Nintendo's handling some things, the series is still mostly "in the dark," so to speak, and cutting out 2/3 of the major platforms isn't a good way to bring it out of the shadows. :/

thats because resident evil 4 was produced and published by capcom so they could put that on any system they wished. Fatal Frame is not being developed by Tecmo its being developed by Nintendo and Grasshopper AKA Suda 51 and published by Nintendo so dont hold your breath because i dont think Nintendo will put it on any other system
This is now a Nintendo exclusive franchise. Why? Well, apparently Tecmo went bankrupt over employees suing them (They didn't get paid :P). So now Tecmo is a dead company and Fatal Frame belongs to Nintendo.

I'm not saying your wrong but this is similar to what happened to Resident evil 4. It was confirmed to be a Game Cube exclusive then after an up-raw from Resi fans who didn't have Game Cubes the game was released on the PS2. Now I can't prove that the same thing is going to happen to this game but as the majority of Fatal Frame fans had a PS2 and therefor may have brought a PS3 to replace it, there could be another up-raw and the game may indeed be released on the PS3 just on a later date.

It is very unlikely that Nintendo will allow a port to another system if it is indeed Nintendo who is publishing it. Also, the games you mentioned are 360 games. 360 = Microsoft = Computer gaming also.
1. I raged like never before when I found out that this game would be a Wii exclusive. I really loved the previous games, and I intend to buy a PS3. Not a Wii. Really, I think Nintendo is being alittle to overconfident about the Wii's target audience. The person who owns a Wii is either a fan of Zelda/Mario games or someone who wanted something they could play with their friends. Not a survival horror fan. They might also miss alot of the fans of the series who may already have bought a PS3.
2. Earlier someone from Techmo, who worked on the previous games, said the PS3 was a dream machine for them, because they could finally make the graphics that they wanted. So alot of fans, including me, went out and bought a PS3 or is planing to buy one. I am not buying a Wii for one fucking game. I really think the game should have been on the PS3 and 360, the Wii's graphics doesn't do it justice. GG Nintendo for "suggesting" to Techmo they should make it a Wii exclusive.

I'm actually glad they made it for the Wii, haha I think lots of us are lucky, since I was a PS2 user, and then when the new generation of consoles came out I chose the Wii instead of the PS3. :)

Grass Hopper brought some sick ideas in Killer 7 and No More Heroes, so perfect for a horror game, I guess, and Nintendo will surely be there for good gameplay quality. Looking forward to this title, especially after Resident Evil became a fucking Action Adventure / Shooter series -.-

i disagree, wii has not won anything yet. a gaming generation last at least 6-8 years, so we still have a lot of time for this generation. besides, ps3 is projected to lead in all console sales by 2011.
actually, the ps2 leads in all sales for every console ever existed. the wii isn't even near the ps2's sales. and you're right, the ps3 has a lot to catch up with.
no, you misread the information. nintendo claimed to have exceeded ps2's software sales in a smaller time margin. in other words, wii sold more units in a less time span than the ps2 did with it's release. ps2 is still leading all sales, it has over 127 million units sold, while the wii has about 25 million sold world wide. who knows, maybe wii will exceed ps2 sales in the future, but right now, the wii doesn't even have 1/4 of the sales compared to the ps2.

PS3 has no exclusive games, ence no killer applications. The Online is nothing great, "classic" gameplay for all games. PS3 is a PC which cannot be upgraded; next year's PCs will be way more technologically advanced than PS3 so.... why should they develop anything exclusively for PS3? Think about it.

Holy shit shut the fuck up. Xbox 360 has fucking Gears of War 2, and PS3 has Fucking MGS4. Not only that but they both have GTA 4. You tell me whats UNFAIR? Ok, for all of you that are saying it's going to be toned down, it's not, this game is going to be rated M (so the chances of making this game a "family game" are zero), and besides Nintendo is not making this game, it's only publishing it, you remeber the game Eternal Darkness, it was published by Nintendo and it was scary and bloody as well and plus there has been many scary games on the Nintendo platforms, like the Resident Evil Remake (that was the scarriest RE and it was on the Gamecube)

Remeber Resident Evil Remake for Gamecube, it didn't get censored (and it's by far the most scarriest RE game there is), nor did Eternal Darkness.

I'm not totally sure what you're trying to say, but I'll try...
If anyone, Nintendo included, wants to see the series NOT wither and die, they're going to stop with the "exclusives" bs. Bigger series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill can withstand an exclusive or two, but Fatal Frame? Not so much. (How often do you hear most people talking about Fatal Frame? I haven't met a single person in real life that's even heard of the series, and hasn't been introduced to it by me!)

that's because Tecmo really sucks at advertising, all of their game are really hard to find and most people don't know about their games, and this event (the series being ported to the wii) might actually help Tecmo, because Nintendo is really good at advertising. Plus many wii owners are complaining the lack of hardcore games there are in the wii ( I'am one of those people). So I doubt Nintendo will let this series die, and it might even buy the series from Tecmo

OK, I see your point now. I still don't think it's a good idea to make it an exclusive, now... even though Nintendo's handling some things, the series is still mostly "in the dark," so to speak, and cutting out 2/3 of the major platforms isn't a good way to bring it out of the shadows. :/

thats because resident evil 4 was produced and published by capcom so they could put that on any system they wished. Fatal Frame is not being developed by Tecmo its being developed by Nintendo and Grasshopper AKA Suda 51 and published by Nintendo so dont hold your breath because i dont think Nintendo will put it on any other system

This is now a Nintendo exclusive franchise. Why? Well, apparently Tecmo went bankrupt over employees suing them (They didn't get paid :P). So now Tecmo is a dead company and Fatal Frame belongs to Nintendo.

I'm not saying your wrong but this is similar to what happened to Resident evil 4. It was confirmed to be a Game Cube exclusive then after an up-raw from Resi fans who didn't have Game Cubes the game was released on the PS2. Now I can't prove that the same thing is going to happen to this game but as the majority of Fatal Frame fans had a PS2 and therefor may have brought a PS3 to replace it, there could be another up-raw and the game may indeed be released on the PS3 just on a later date.

Actually, the Resident Evil games have decent graphics on the Wii. I'm pretty sure Fatal Frame 4 would have similar graphics.

It is very unlikely that Nintendo will allow a port to another system if it is indeed Nintendo who is publishing it. Also, the games you mentioned are 360 games. 360 = Microsoft = Computer gaming also.

1. I raged like never before when I found out that this game would be a Wii exclusive. I really loved the previous games, and I intend to buy a PS3. Not a Wii. Really, I think Nintendo is being alittle to overconfident about the Wii's target audience. The person who owns a Wii is either a fan of Zelda/Mario games or someone who wanted something they could play with their friends. Not a survival horror fan. They might also miss alot of the fans of the series who may already have bought a PS3.

2. Earlier someone from Techmo, who worked on the previous games, said the PS3 was a dream machine for them, because they could finally make the graphics that they wanted. So alot of fans, including me, went out and bought a PS3 or is planing to buy one. I am not buying a Wii for one fucking game. I really think the game should have been on the PS3 and 360, the Wii's graphics doesn't do it justice. GG Nintendo for "suggesting" to Techmo they should make it a Wii exclusive.

Ok this is what i dont fucking get Why would anybody want to name the Game Fatal Frame:The mask of the Lunar Eclipse.2 it doesnt really even sound good with all of the other ones it just doesnt fit in.3 to me the Wii fucking sucks i dont care about how many games they sold or anything like that.They should either make it on 360<33 or ps3<33.And the game really doesnt look as fun as the others cuz the main ghost or whatever looks stupid as hell!!I dont think i even want to play this one...

I'm actually glad they made it for the Wii, haha I think lots of us are lucky, since I was a PS2 user, and then when the new generation of consoles came out I chose the Wii instead of the PS3. :)
Plus game experience with the Wii features will just be awesome!

Actually, the best console between Wii, 360 or PS3 (based on one gaming magazine i read) was the Wii. Here's what it wrote:
Wii-1, 360-2 and PS3 was the third most sold gaming consoles.
And it's good that their is finally something that proves that the wii is better than any other console and yes it did beat the sales of the PS2

Grass Hopper brought some sick ideas in Killer 7 and No More Heroes, so perfect for a horror game, I guess, and Nintendo will surely be there for good gameplay quality. Looking forward to this title, especially after Resident Evil became a fucking Action Adventure / Shooter series -.-

anyway I think that fatal frame 4 should be an exclusive for ps3 because xbox 360 have yet too much JAPANESE games stolen to japan ps3. i disagree, wii has not won anything yet. a gaming generation last at least 6-8 years, so we still have a lot of time for this generation. besides, ps3 is projected to lead in all console sales by 2011.

no, you misread the information. nintendo claimed to have exceeded ps2's software sales in a smaller time margin. in other words, wii sold more units in a less time span than the ps2 did with it's release. ps2 is still leading all sales, it has over 127 million units sold, while the wii has about 25 million sold world wide. who knows, maybe wii will exceed ps2 sales in the future, but right now, the wii doesn't even have 1/4 of the sales compared to the ps2.

PS3 has no exclusive games, ence no killer applications. The Online is nothing great, "classic" gameplay for all games. PS3 is a PC which cannot be upgraded; next year's PCs will be way more technologically advanced than PS3 so.... why should they develop anything exclusively for PS3? Think about it.

You might be hoping forever dude, Nintendo is the publisher of Fatal Frame 4. You know what that means, that it is illegal for the game to be ported onto other systems. The reason Resident Evil 4 was ported to ps2 is because Capcom was the publisher. Only the publisher has the right to
