  • u dont rly wanna punch some1 in the nose eyes or teath because its gonna make a mess of them...but u want to aim for the jaw most of the time because its the biggest easiest target to hit...and because it will knock some1 out if u do it right. the aim is to disable some1 as quickly as u can..so if u can knock them out thats the best.

  • mr thomson this is the real deal in self defence , i have done a few martial arts but find them to be of little use in a real scrap unless your head is in the right gear to fight .all beginers should take a look at these tape s .they are very usefull tools

  • cool moves!

  • see i always thought you wanted to punch someone in their nose/teeth/eyes you know to do damage?

  • i like this bloke

  • i reckon ey, he's awesome

  • Ther were so many refrences to 'the fence' in Watch My Back its good to actually see an actual demonstration.

  • very good. thank you

  • This is great but straight punches to the face are a great way to wind up injuring yourself. As the presenter mentioned - punching someone in the teeth sent him to the hospital. If you absolutely know that you can deliver a punch to the correct target - it's a great tool. Under the stress of combat, you will have the adrenaline dump and your opponent is not likely to stand still. Injuries to the hand are the most common in street fights - use the proper tools for the job.

  • Doesn´t Keith Kernspecht also use this concept in his Blitz Defence? It´s definately great stuff and very helpful. Thanks for the videos!

  • He does! He successfully stolen it from Geoff! Thanks to Kernspecht´s Blitzdefense i stumbled on Geoff Thompson and Peter Consterdine which are (in my opinion) the absolut experts in that field! Check out their videos and books! :-)

  • Listen and learn. One will not find better self defense advice anywhere.

  • awesome!

  • Thanks Geoff, this is brilliant stuff, much appreciated. Cheers!

  • The Fence is conceptually simple but very important, your protection is your power. It can be described as controlling the distance between you and your aggressor, in order to avoid a confrontation to become violent. This is about avoiding violence . Geoff Thompson

  • Excellent !

  • Great advice here.
