OMG TRY DDF SKINCARE! most amazing line EVER!!! great sensitive and acne lines...it's available at Sephora and select Shoppers Drug Mart BEauty Btqs..great vids! xo
Try pure EMU oil. I use to have many blemishes on my skin, and I have a very sensitive skin. This oil has done miracles! I have blended it (few drops) with aloe vera gel (98% pure aloe vera) and have used it as my day and night cream. Try it! It is amazing :)
im always so excited when you show new skincare products:) i don't know what it is but i trust your opinions and recommendations, whatever i got that you reviewed turned out to be very good. now i want to run to drugstore and get whatever you talk about even if i dont need them;) lol xxx
I've been using the Cleanance K cream gel for months now, it is so amazing for improving your skin texture! But you definitely have to be careful with where you apply it if you have irritated skin. Even my boyfriend is getting compliments on his skin lately :) love it
hey Sandra, My skin was like yours - itchy red and breaking out until I used the toleriane however it stopped working. Then I purchased the Cetaphil Ultra hydrating Lotion and that was even better than the La Roche Posay and cheaper too!
I love Chanel Loose Powder. While it is lighter than my skin tone, it doesn't alter my foundation color. I think it will last forever, because I only need a tiny amount.
would you recommend the chanel loose powder or laura mercier powder? (i know they are different as one has color and the other is translucent) I am just curious! x :)
the chanel powder can you wear it as a mineral type foundation? or is it meant to be worn over liquid foundation? I'm currently using bare minerals matte. THANK YOU!!!! xox
You look gorgeous! Sorry to hear about your skin, you might like the Sibu brand which is basically all naturally derived, has done wonders since I heard about it from michele1218! Plus their seed oil is great for any scarring/marks and makes a nice night treatment!
Oh, hope your skin calms.. mine's been ok-ish.. however, about to start doing make up on my course so we've had to do cleanse tone moisturise.. and my goodness the product seemed irratable with my skin..and these are products sold purely through beauty wholesalers not from drugstore or supermarket.. oh and about to do waxing eeekks, so poor skin is gonna suffer :S xx
@txa825 it's better for setting foundation. the compact I was using before had more coverage since it was a powder foundation, not a "setting powder"... so for setting foundation, the loose is more appropriate. although I did love the compact as a foundation on its own and will probably repurchase in the summer :)
Can someone explain me what is "the price plus tax"? I heard a lot of american gurus (and apparently it is the same in Canada) talk about that!Does it mean that if u buy for example a powder and it says the price is 30 dollars it's possible that u pay more when it's time to check out?If it's the case then it must be so confusing! In France if a product is priced at 30 euros we pay 30 euros nothing more!I mean taxes are already include in the price so we know the exact price...
@sinsu87 hehe yes the price + the taxes. in HOUSTON TEXAS we pay 8.2% taxes on everything so if something is $30 we have to pay additional 8.25% taxes on that which is 2.475....so $30 + $2.475= $32.475
@sslilac@ttsandra Thank u so much both of u for answering me!It must be very depressing everytime u do shopping lol!Ii understand now why u wanted to cry when u heard the price!lol!
@sinsu87 yes, @sslilac explained it right! I love going to europe because you pay for what you see on the tag, here in North America the taxes are not included on the price they mention on the tags, it all gets added up when you go to pay! xox
hi Sandra, may I just ask u, is your skin oily? I am wanting to try La Roche Posay Toleriane, but I dont want to make my face oilier than it is now. Thanks!
I always walk into Shoppers with the idea that I'm going to try la roche posay only cause of you and yet I never do! I'm running out of all my skincare essentials right now so I think next time Shoppers has a bonus points over $50 I'll have to pick up a couple items =)
@annabellesmakeup alert alert!! this saturday and sunday they are having 18,500 bonus optimum points if you spend $75 or more on anything in the store! maybe this will be the time you take the plunge :)
@ttsandra Oh you enabler! And because of this I checked their e-flyer and my favourite eyeliners are on sale this weekend too.. Oh boy. Time to go to Shoppers tomorrow =P
Hi Sandra! We have the same skin type and I would love if you could do a video on your favorite acne treatments/products. I've tried the effaclar K and it was nice but I didn't see much of a difference but it was better than anything else I've used. I'm always fighting to find something that works but doesn't irritate my skin at the same time. Love your videos! <3
@htucker09 of course! i will add it to the list. I might do a blog post on it since it might be easier (I have some products that I used to use when I had really bad cystic acne so it will be good to add pictures and stuff of everything in the blog post).. stay tuned.
I have the Avene Clenance K and it's really good!I don't have skin problems or acne, but sometimes I get red bumps and I use it at night and by the morning it's gone.
i use the dermo cleanser from Toleriane, and after using many, many cleansers from many different brands, this one is amazing. If your skin suffers or suffered from acne according to the dermatologist your skin is sensitive and irritated. So you have to avoid fragrance in skincare products and alcohol denat (denatured alcohol). You probably already know this, but it helped me a lot! And this cleanser contains no alcohol, frangrance, preservatives and lanoline. I love the Chanel powder.
Heya Sandra, since you're talking about La Roche Posay products, can I ask you a question? I've got big pores on my tzone and a little but og cystic acne on my chin, which would be better at making them better: Effaclar Duo or Effaclar K? I've been reading about the two for a long time but I'm confused by all their fancy, marketing descriptions! Thank you so much for your help xx
@controversiaster the Duo! I know it can get confusing - the way I look at them is Duo is a sport treatment that helps get rid of bumps and spots. K helps fade marks and improves the overall tone of the skin.
I'm always waiting new videos from you. I usually don't spill compliments to everyone but you are gorgeous! I love your style and taste in fashion/make-up. Amazing!
