What process did you go through to be able to get the skunk. I'm considering getting one and I know a lot about pet care with them. They are legal where I live, but I have been hearing about this permit that you need? It would be very helpful to find out from someone who has experience. Thank you.

@ThatGoesInMyPants its not hard you just have to check if its legal in the state to have one. most states that allow it you have to have a permit. then you need to get the glands removed. taking care of them is important. they require a lot of attentions and certain diets and all that.

I love PEACHES and her Daddy more than anyone and his wife Penny too. they truley love animals as much as me. I too have 2 pet skunks and 4 shar-pei and 3 cats in my house. I feel animals as children are better that real kids. no back talk no drugs just real love!! Skunks are not EVIL

No, not really. She just doesn't scratch that hard and her claws are hard and long, but not that sharp !
