can start game between GMT 13:00 and 15:00 and play till 17:30 GMT. If i get a proper group of people then iam willing to play these hours anyday of the week. But first i would like to try a few games over the weekend.
I haven't played this new version. But i loved the original Col and freecol, and I sure do get inspired by this music. Think I'm gonna go out and buy this game asap!
Get a staff of statesmen and squeeze the life right out of them, and then you can peacefully kill them. Once your culture takes their land, they won't be able to support a fighting force. Anyways, lovely jingle ain't it?
Aye, I recognised it almost instantly as Over the Hills and Far Away. Does help that I'm an immense fan of the Sharpe series, which the song features prominently.
I believe that a Dutch song writer working in Britain wrote this song and, after the Napoleonic Wars, brought it back to his country and it was later used as a Dutch drinking song.
That's what my history prof told me, but both he and I could be wrong *shrug*
Of course, you've got to use English music for Dutch characters, why would you use Dutch music? That just wouldn't make sense.

dont think 1 can play civ 4 or 5 with pirate copies online/hamachi.
but ne1 can play online with a cracked game of colo (civ4) !!!!
sad that i dont see many ppl there. n the ones you play with are often the ones who leave 15 minutes into every game (little rascals!).
i just downloaded the game again and would enjoy a full game (4 players) over the weekend - break the game time into hours for fri, sat and sunday.

Yes this is a British army song from the Nepolonic wars. Why give it to the Dutch?
