Well the CD was suppose to be a concept CD. But I guess they dumped that idea. But the song is about a guy who loses his lover/girlfriend/wife in a car crash. And he goes to hell while she goes to heaven. Then the guy makes a deal with the devil if he collected 1000 evil souls he'd be able to see his lover again. Towards the end he fails to get the souls in the time limit and the devil basically ends up killing him.
No, actually it's a continuation from their last album, ( I Bought You My Bullets, you brought me your love. ) About Two lovers out on the run from authority (Hang' Em High) shot down in the desert(Demolition lovers and this song) then the rest about the deal with the devil and the 1000 souls XD. But Helena is where things get confusing seemingly,but it's actually a song about his grandma that got thown in mix of things. Pretty much awesomeness!!!
