I mean- look at it! So beautifully smooth, the details, the models, the graphics, the UI is pretty decent-looking as well! It's 2010, I don't see any reason why they can't achieve this 5 years from 2005. What I want to really know, is why they churned out this current version we see today.

If they wanted to appeal to kids, why not make SPORE, And then 'Spore'(surreal version)? or call this spoRe (R for Real)

In fact, just make -spoRe- the new Spore 2; I guarantee that many will buy.

I believe that spore is really creative, yet it is something that i thought of since i was 12 years old. Now spore certainly is a great game, but there is 'something' missing that just doesn't make you well sort of addicted.

I don't know what it is, but a game like counter strike source and rome total war do have that 'something'. I think people call that the x-factor.

Great game, just not perfect...

But for the rest: Maxis, congratz for making a breakthrough in gaming.

There are millions of planets XD maybe even billions of planets in the game, the chances of you running into a penis creature will be EXTREEEEEEMLY slim >> you can litterally make anything with spore XD >> (not always a good thing)

All that's out is a creature creator. The sheer level of definition you can put into your creation is not all. The way you design the creature gives it attack speed, charm and other bonuses to help in escaping, fighting, mating, and more. Once you get advanced enough creatures, you create tribes and have tribal warfare, then you make cities and have vehicular warfare, then you dominate other planets in a spaceship.

HAHAHAHAHA this game has blood. in 1 vid he captured a creature with his UFO, took it to another planet, dropped it down, and all the alien creature ripped it in half... leaving blood everywhere... it was pretty cool! also he used his tractor beam to flick a creature up, then it fell down to a bloody death! (also cool)
