And he was hardly "great", that was my point. The video is proof of this, as 98% of it contains highlights from... you guessed it, The Crow. A piece of debri from a blank bullet that was shot during a sceen of his encounter with the thugs entering his apartment hit him at him mid abdomen. It was like being shot by a real bullet. Sadly he died while he's way to the hospital or i think on the set of "The Crow". RIP BRANDON WE WILL MISS YOU.

As far as his father Bruce, It started as a headache and he died in his sleep... some say the Chinese were not happy with him sharing his martial arts with the world....so they joined together and telepathically ruptured a vessel in his brain. They wanted to make the bullets look realistic in the revolver by leaving the actual round in the shell but take the gun powder out. the primer (what ignites the gun powder) had enough power to push the bullet out and into Brandon. what is mysterious about it is that his dad (Bruce Lee) was killed the same way.

When I heard how Bruce died it was more understandable how it could of just been from overtraining, and not the touch of death.

Why would anyone have a real gun on a set with real bullet's if you are not planning on actually shooting somone? Accident my ass, hey let's load this gun and point it at the actors!
They use REAL guns with blanks. However, blanks don't look quite like the real thing, so for one scene they needed to use real bullets to get the look (they removed the gunpowder, making bullets harmless). Well, somehow the bullet separated from the shell and lodged in the barrel. They then used the same gun with blanks. Blanks don't have enough force to hurt anyone, but they had enough force to shoot the bullet out of the barrel.
Have the camera zoomed on the gun as it slides, then ejects while no one is infront of it, then film a scene where brandon pretends to be shot, then animate the bullet into the scene.
Maybe not quite what they were looking for but a hell of a lot more safe, and maybe he would still be alive today.
Well, keep in mind that they shoot blanks at actors in tons of other movies. Accidents happen. Think of it like driving: tons of people do it. However, occasionally someone dies in a car accident (bad example because A LOT more people die in car accidents than with blanks, but you get the point).
@gamegear9 Uh I don't quite know how to express myself but ill give it a try, it was a lose bullet who hit Brandon through the abdomen so that it hit the spine or something like that, and they used to use real guns on the set but with lose bullets. But yeah i think they both were murdered.

@gamegear9 dude, it was an accident, what happened was before they shot that fatal scene they were waitng for the second prop team to show up so they tested out the gun with dummy bullets and ione got jammed in the firing chamber but they didnt notice, then when they shot the scene using blanks the forco of the first blank shot sent the dummy bullet flying into brandons spine. it was a complete accident, but i admit they could have checked the gun first.

Because the movie's second unit team was running behind schedule, it was decided that dummy cartridges (cartridges that outwardly appear to be functional but contain no gunpowder or primer) would be made from real cartridges by pulling out the bullet, dumping out the gunpowder and reinserting the bullet. However, the team neglected to consider that the primer was still live and, if fired, could still produce enough force to push the bullet off the end of the cartridge
At some point prior to the fatal scene, the live primer on one of the constructed dummy rounds was discharged by persons unknown while in the pistol's chamber. It caused a squib load, in which the primer provided just enough force to push the bullet out of the cartridge and into the barrel of the revolver.
The malfunction went unnoticed by the crew, and the same gun was used again later to shoot the death scene, having been re-loaded with low-power black powder blanks. the squib load was still lodged in the barrel, and was propelled by the blank cartridge's explosion out of the barrel and into Lee's body. Although the bullet was traveling slower than a normally fired bullet would be, the bullet's large size and the point-blank firing distance made it powerful enough to fatally wound Lee.
When the blank was fired, the bullet shot out and hit Lee in the abdomen and lodged in his spine. He fell down instantly and the director shouted "Cut!". When Lee did not respond, the cast and crew rushed to him and found that he was wounded. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. Lees heart stopped once on the set and once in the ambulance. Following a six hour operation to remove the bullet, and despite being given 6 pints of blood, Lee was pronounced dead at 1:03 pm on March 31, 1993.

They actually don't know how Bruce died, some think he was killed by the Chinese Triad, I think he was because, it said in an artical i read that he refused to pay them money for protection or something like that. Still i'm not sure.

The bullet from a live round had got lodged in the barrel, when the gun was loaded with blanks there was enough gunpowder in a blank to fire the lodged bullet, just an unfortunate accident through sloppy weapons checks

To Megastrigoi...That seems very likely to have been the case. Real bullets CONTAIN a BULLET IN THE END, Very obvious when looking at one. Blanks do no have a bullet. They are simply a cartridge with gunpowder in them and when fired emulate a real gun. These are no accidents when a real bullet is placed in a gun. Have a good one guys.

When I heard how Bruce died it was more understandable how it could of just been from overtraining, and not the touch of death.
After seeing how Brandon died, I think we can say with certainty they were both murdered, as gun's on movie set's are either fake or are packing blanks.
Why would anyone have a real gun on a set with real bullet's if you are not planning on actually shooting somone? Accident my ass, hey let's load this gun and point it at the actors!

They use REAL guns with blanks. However, blanks don't look quite like the real thing, so for one scene they needed to use real bullets to get the look (they removed the gunpowder, making bullets harmless). Well, somehow the bullet separated from the shell and lodged in the barrel. They then used the same gun with blanks. Blanks don't have enough force to hurt anyone, but they had enough force to shoot the bullet out of the barrel.

On a gun, the slide moves and the cartridge ejects. It isn't really feasible to animate that.

Have the camera zoomed on the gun as it slides, then ejects while no one is infront of it, then film a scene where brandon pretends to be shot, then animate the bullet into the scene.
Maybe not quite what they were looking for but a hell of a lot more safe, and maybe he would still be alive today.

Well, keep in mind that they shoot blanks at actors in tons of other movies. Accidents happen. Think of it like driving: tons of people do it. However, occasionally someone dies in a car accident (bad example because A LOT more people die in car accidents than with blanks, but you get the point).

@gamegear9 Uh I don't quite know how to express myself but ill give it a try, it was a lose bullet who hit Brandon through the abdomen so that it hit the spine or something like that, and they used to use real guns on the set but with lose bullets. But yeah i think they both were murdered.

@gamegear9 dude, it was an accident, what happened was before they shot that fatal scene they were waitng for the second prop team to show up so they tested out the gun with dummy bullets and ione got jammed in the firing chamber but they didnt notice, then when they shot the scene using blanks the forco of the first blank shot sent the dummy bullet flying into brandons spine. it was a complete accident, but i admit they could have checked the gun first.

Because the movie's second unit team was running behind schedule, it was decided that dummy cartridges (cartridges that outwardly appear to be functional but contain no gunpowder or primer) would be made from real cartridges by pulling out the bullet, dumping out the gunpowder and reinserting the bullet. However, the team neglected to consider that the primer was still live and, if fired, could still produce enough force to push the bullet off the end of the cartridge

At some point prior to the fatal scene, the live primer on one of the constructed dummy rounds was discharged by persons unknown while in the pistol's chamber. It caused a squib load, in which the primer provided just enough force to push the bullet out of the cartridge and into the barrel of the revolver.

The malfunction went unnoticed by the crew, and the same gun was used again later to shoot the death scene, having been re-loaded with low-power black powder blanks. the squib load was still lodged in the barrel, and was propelled by the blank cartridge's explosion out of the barrel and into Lee's body. Although the bullet was traveling slower than a normally fired bullet would be, the bullet's large size and the point-blank firing distance made it powerful enough to fatally wound Lee.

When the blank was fired, the bullet shot out and hit Lee in the abdomen and lodged in his spine. He fell down instantly and the director shouted "Cut!". When Lee did not respond, the cast and crew rushed to him and found that he was wounded. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. Lees heart stopped once on the set and once in the ambulance. Following a six hour operation to remove the bullet, and despite being given 6 pints of blood, Lee was pronounced dead at 1:03 pm on March 31, 1993.
