@MegaHillFolk Bob Ross of Pilgrim Publications (website: PILGRIMPUBLICATIONS COM), one of the world's leading publishers of the works of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, first met Larry Wessels in the summer of 1990 for a televised debate against local Campbellite preachers. Larry had paid the expenses for Bob Ross & another to debate two "Church of Christ" preachers from the Eastside Church of Christ (see our "Debate With Campbellite Preachers" here on YOUTUBE). Bob & Larry have remained friends since.
Thank God that we have more intelligent humans such as the people from CAnswersTV. Great video. Its too bad that so many people are blinded. Lord Jesus, please guide more non-believers towards you.
calvinism is false doctrine pulling a smaokescreen by warning people of false doctrines...pot callin the kettle black type of thing...and the lost who know little will get sucked into this just like the mormon , sda j witness cults do..then discourage those to stay lost..by meaning well..they destroyed themselves by lack of knowledge..PRIDEFULLY and ARROGANTLY..gatherer of innacurrate knowledge that leads to hell...defined as MORONs. no other way to define it,,,just no other way..MORONS. pitty
What do you mean when you say "calvinism?" How do you define it? I'm not talking about "calvinism" but what the Bible teaches. "Dubvishun" since I have personally talked to you on the telephone I already know that you are uncomfortable with God's election (Ephesians 1:1-11), the fact that He Himself makes someone "born again" (John 3:3-8), & He grants repentance (2 Tim. 2: 24-26). The supernatural is not in your control, like it or not!
L wessels is very genuine nice GOOFY dude--BUT is the perfect reflection of anyone who has studied scripture & uses that to justify accuracy while under strong dellusion...goof wods out there that cant see the backlash of{true holy christians} of disagreence ..alone should be enough to re-evaluate the caslvinist doctrine..Simple= God made everything- ELECTED, CHOSE, predestined the HUMAN creation for heaven and FEW will heed the narrow path..just like the predestinists themselves who are doomed
"Dubvishun" is simply a misguided soul much like our Hindu friend in the previous comments where he "thinks" he knows something but alas what he "thinks" does not match what the Bible clearly teaches. Unlimited Sovereignty of God means God cannot be defeated & He rules & controls everything & everyone: Genesis 18:14, Job 42:2, Isaiah 14:24,27, 46:9-11, 55:11; Psalm 115:3, 135:6; Jeremiah 32:17, Daniel 4:35, Romans 9.
The spiritual master of the Hare Krishna faith says many times that Jesus is God's son, and that as God's son, He is the perfect guru (in English, that means teacher). He even went as far as to say that we should know Jesus, because without knowing the Son, knowledge of the Father is incomplete. I can't help but agree.
Jesus is the perfect God (not a guru in the Hindu sense) in human flesh (John 1:1-14) and was the one referred to by David in Psalm 2:12 ("Kiss the Son, lest, ye perish"). All other gods & avatars are false idols (Psalm 96:5). Go to Yahoo Video, search Larry Wessels, see Hinduism videos.
Remember, people in the Bible called Him "rabbi" - teacher. Same thing as "guru." Either way, there's no question of reaching God without someone to guide the way - who better than God's son (who, at the same time, is God)?
A "rabbi" is a Jewish teacher teaching Jewish laws & doctrines passed down from Moses, not a "guru" teaching Hindu religious ideas. These terms are not the same. The Jews are God's chosen people not the Hindus, thus God loved them & gave His laws to them alone (Deuteronomy 7:6-26).
The point of Jewish law and "Hindu" law is to learn to love and serve God. The difference in terms is one word is Hebrew and the other is Sanskrit.
Also, Vedic scripture doesn't say anything about the people of India being "God's Chosen". It doesn't cover the Jews in that regard, but we have the Holy Bible to cover that ground.
Didn't you read Deuteronomy 7? If you had you would not have made these statements. Those in India, the "Hindus", were not chosen or even loved by God since they were not from Abraham's seed (the Jews). God's covenant was only with the Jews (Gen. 15). All others worshipped devils (Deut 32:17).
Yes, Bhagavad Gita backs up this fact up quite nicely, calling worship of gods such as Shiva, Indra, etc "the wrong way" (9.23) and people who worship them "of small intelligence" (7.23). True worship is reserved for the Supreme Person, and Him alone.
And I'll think I'll pass on the videos, thank you.
The Bhagavad Gita relates a dialogue between Arjuna, the warrior-prince, & his charioteer, Krishna, who is the disguised incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu. Hare Krishna doctrine makes Jesus Krishna's son & subordinate to Krishna which is pure nonsense from a Biblical point of view (Gal. 1:6-9).
For a Hare Krishna guy you sure do your best to try to make your particular brand of Hinduism mythology seem palatable with historic Biblical teaching but alas your vain attempts are destined to fail miserably as we shall continue to see. Jesus was Jewish and the promised Jewish Messiah.
re: Jesus is an Avatar of God - First off, according to Vedic Scripture, an Avatar is nondifferent from God Himself, so the Vedas are correct: Jesus is God.
Second, in a Vedic text called Bhavishya Pyrana, Bible history is recounted, from Eden to Noah to Moses to Jesus, and Jesus even says Himself "My name is Jesus Christ, whose name means Messiah, and I am the Son of God." And since Jesus emenates directly from God, He certainly can't help but BE God.
Jesus claimed to be the Creator God of the Universe and of the Old Testament (John 8:58, Colossians 1:14-22, Revelation 1:5-18, Isaiah 45:21-25) and without believing that a person would die in their sins (John 8:23-32) and face eternal punishment in the lake of fire (Rev. 14:10-11, 2 Thess 1:7-10).
Yes, Bhavishya Purana 19:23 backs up the claim of Jesus's godhood, including the specific fact of his being born of a virgin. Verse 30 goes into how he taught God's principles through the Old Testament, as well as naming him "Isha-Masiha" (Jesus the Messiah). Thus, is proof given of Jesus's claim. Let no one tell you different.
Embree, pp. 255-56, "The Hindu Tradition" states that Chaitanya said, "Which knowledge is highest of all? Answer: There is no knowledge but devotion to Krishna." You must certainly realize that this contradicts Biblical revelation completely. Krishna is not the God revealed in the Bible & thus is cursed.
In Bhagavad Gita, Krishna makes the claims to being God and explains why He is. He is the source of all things manifest and unmanifest. He is the biggest and the smallest. No one can make that claim, except Jesus, who says that he is nondifferent from His Father ("I and my father are one"). Jesus Himself preached Devotion to God (The Lord's Prayer), same as Chaitanya.
The idea of Krishna being God does not contradict the Bible. In Hebrew His name is Yahweh, in Sanskrit, it is Krishna.
The overall attribute of the God of the Bible is holiness (Revelation 4:8) and He condemns the wicked (Psalm 7:11). Krishna of the Bhagavad Gita in Hindu traditions is the "Cosmic Lover" good with the ladies whether married or not & is a Joker stealing women's clothes. Krishna is a pagan god.
An atheist is more religious than someone who claims to believe in a religion. It actually takes more faith to believe you just got here by accident than to beieve that an all-powerful Creator did it. Talk about taking a flying leap, yours is a bigger fairy tale than Santa.
It seems you don't want to argue but rather you are turning yourself into a theological pretzel, trying to twist & contort to conform to any Biblical doctrine I bring up. It won't work though since I already know what you believe. Go Yahoo Video, search Larry Wessels, see our Hinduism/Reincarnation videos.
Your unsubstantiated and misinformed statement itself reveals by the term "Luciferian" that you appear to be basing what little information you have from a Biblical context. This in itself refutes your position since you apparently are claiming a Biblical Text to say that Biblical Christianity is false. Please see our video on either "Yahoo Video" or "Google Video" (one there search "Larry Wessels") entitled, "Demon Possession Topical Video."
Einstein said See my library which treasures classics from Sanskrit namely the Gita and other treatises on Hindu Philosophy. I have made the Gita as the main source of my inspiration and guidance for the purpose of scientific investigations and formulation of my theories."
