  • my fav from big island, was just there 4 days ago. we hiked it both ways but locals will take tourists to and from for a donation. beautiful beach warm water not too many people. it is a shame however to see trash out there . at the high sign walking to beach is a pile of old bottles of beer and plastic bottles filled with pee...yes old pee. nice one fella's, and i really dont think its always the tourists trashing the places i went while visting big island.

  • Hawaiian Land!

  • i agree w you 100%

  • Hawaiian Land!

  • It used to be that Hawaiians were the ONLY people that respected the land...now, not so much. I see trash, drugs, etc. in the most beautiful spots on the Big Island. I hear loud music with bad words as young men and women share drugs with no shame. I remember being a kid in Hawaii and blaming the haoles for everything...now the blame is on ALL of us. Get over it Prince...instead of screaming Hawaiian Land...call it OUR land and we can treat it right TOGETHER.

  • yeah its sad to see drugs taking over anyones life..so many good people lost because of it..i said hawaiian land meaning a land that belonged to our ancestors way before you or me existed! im not a preservationist or saint in that regard but what i meant was how the majority of hoales perpetuate a certain grandiosity and right that they be catered to. visit the island, have a good time,no make house! mahalo!

  • You blame haoles for building homes on Hawaii? Blame the politicians who zone the land for their kickbacks from the resorts and developers. If a resort and/or condo isn't going up...the land around family owned land is getting rezoned, forcing families to sell their land b/c of their newly acquired taxes from zoning. Hawaiians should blame themselves for not voting in moral and ethical public officials. Elections within the state continue to be popularity contests...no accountability!
