  • Takes me back... No telly, just listening to the radio.....Thank's...

  • I am looking for another song by Guy Mitchell's. Does anyone have a digital copy or a video for lord made a peanut?

  • I love this song - it reminds me of the sing alongs to a Guy Mitchell tape my mum had in the car when I was a little girl. Thanks.

  • I'm 12 years old, and I LOVE this song! I dont care if its an old song - its amazing!

  • @ms0866 your not alone

  • my mom sang "Red Feathers" to me at night when i went to bed, lost mom today, but the memories will last me the rest of my life, thanks mom

  • Hi!, Guy sang quite a number of songs prior to the official kickoff to what was to be called R&R. I did get familiarized with a ht or two by this guy owing to CKNW, the radio station my mom tuned into, otherwise I may never know him for the Wild Goose or the Pawnshop. My favorite is probably Truly Truly Fair. Thx4 posting

  • @Ezdduf4kuZ yawn

  • @Ezdduf4kuZ Thanks, though the Wild Goose was Frankie Laine...

  • "While six baboons got out bassoons and played Here Comes The Bride" ... top tip for your wedding!

  • i was the only girl & my da use to sing this song to me

  • Dave here. Back in about '52 when I was 13, Mom liked Guy's song, "My Heart Cries For You." Those were, for me, the "days of ripening." Maybe I'll write a book. We were new transplants to South Daytona, FL, from Upper Darby, PA. We "discovered" fried chicken-in-a-basket at Runtz #2 drive-in restaurant; "How High the Moon" being played at the #1 (Hwy.) drive-in theater, etc., etc.

  • google

    The Lungpipes

    You will be pleasantly surprised.

  • Lol He's Good He Makes ME Laugh

  • This was my favorite song when I was 4 or 5 in the early 50's. I had a small record player and played it over and over. I really wanted to be that girl in the red feathers. I've mentioned this song to people over the years and they just look at me like I'm some kind of freak. Thank's so much for confirming to me that I didn't dream the whole thing up!

  • Memory lane for me too... both of these songs ! I was 4 or 5 in the early 50s too !

  • This was my party piece song when I was aged 4in 1952

  • the old 1s are the best, you cant beat em

  • The full title of the second song was "Feet Up (Pat Him On The Po-Po)". If you didn't know it was about an infant....LOL

  • Guy mitchell's songs are Cheerful, simple and catchy. my dad bought me his greatest hits album when i turned 14. i still have it on vinyl.that was 30 years ago.If you can here us up in heaven Guy, keep playing them tunes! we love em!

  • My 8 yr old grand-daughter knows all the words to this song and regularly gives us her rendition of it - brainwashed or what ??? lol

  • guy makes this old man young at heart thanks, any more ?

  • What a blessing this site ( YouTube ) is for us Silver Surfers! I never thought that now I am in my mid seventies that I would be able to enjoy Video's from the fifties. Thanks a Million.

  • Dont think you can beat the singers of his time, in the fifties there were some great singers around not like today, some are just a lot of rubbish

  • What a video....been a guy mitchell fan since 1950 and just love it. Did see hime live three or four times at the glasgow empire and he was terrific

  • Funny I sitting here 25 years after my father passed away as he was a big Guy Mitchell fan, I still know all the words to the songs as Guy mitchell's was regularly played in our house mainly on a sunday morning for some reason I think back then it was regarded as a treat for me to play records on his old 1960's HMV record player when I was a child growing up. my dad even met Guy Mitchell once not long before he died which I know lifted his sprits very much.

  • very very sexy,

  • Thank you for uploading this brilliant video. You made an old man very happy. Any more Guy Mitchell that you have would be very much appreciated

    Thanks again

    Dave A
