Um, why don't you do your own research instead of asking her how it works. Corticosteroids knock out the inflammatory cascade after allergens bind the mast cell and cause release of histamines. Those histamines would cause vasdilation, blood vessel leakage, itching, etc. It's called biochemistry. This rep isn't a scientist, but scientists have done the research. Magic...right.
