I was at Cobo when they recorded "Full House". Loved them then, love them now. Anyone else remember that for about 5 minutes in the 70's Peter Wolf was married to Faye Dunaway from "Bonnie & Clyde?"
@ftlshome1 You are right and I am wrong. A brain fart on my part. I saw them at Cobo a few times, and must have got confused. It was a long time ago, and most of that time I was "sobriety challenged."
cobo 1972, i think. opened for the stones. they blew the roof off. when they finished the set, their last 15 minutes caused riots. the show was stopped totally, until the wayne county sheriff and the detroit police could put people back into where it was 'civil'. private security was there, but, we had 20,000. they had 200. we did what we wanted....and we wanted j. geils!
I saw them Friday night in Detroit at the fillmore. I was right in the front, he is unreal. He can move like he did in 1972!! geri gillespie st.clair shores MI

I saw these guys 10 years ago and then I saw them last night. After taking 10 years off they haven't lost a step. At 63 years old, peter wolf has more energy than me (I'm 22). He looks and moves and entertains just as good as he did in the videos I've seen from the 70's. These guys are from hell. Awesome ass show, I really hope they do more, they still got it.

Saw them('79-'80) at Pine Knob,(Detroit area outdoor venue)It was and still is one of the best shows I ever saw!!

It was the year I graduated, phenomenal show, those guys sure know how to rock and get the crowd going through the whole show.
I don't know how this song can play any better than it does in the D ! (or at least the northern suburbs of it) Ha !

I saw J Geils in Seattle in 1972. Magic Dick inspired me to buy Harps in different keys. In those days, they cost five dollars apeice. Mick
