Your hair has gotten longer :D suits you! I can only say that i am utterly amazed by those fins! Looks natural to me and i would so want to see those in water action! The scaling looked funny. Good but funny. I guess i have get to used to those pumpkin seed one like (or what was those, bad memory). Oh so beautiful tail <3 the customer will have :3
The tails are all painted with silicone. The silicone tail and the paint are both the same so they stick to each other. The silicone is thinned with a special solvent for painting and then colored with pigments that are all silicone-based. The end result is paint that never comes off. This is better for Chlorine water and seawater because the silicone isn't going to rot like most fabrics or rubbers will.
These guys have instructional videos and they also sell material. They show in videos how to make molds and work with the materials and chemicals (not so fun if you don't like to get dirty) but this is the background nature of this kind of work.
