So many impressionable young minds. They'll believe anything you preach to them. Some preachers berate the kids telling them they're evil for having sex or pot smoking. Apparently they think making our youths ashamed of themselves is a good way to sway their minds. The way some preachers speak and the language they use is innapropriate and the universities should not allow them on campus.
I'm familiar with your faith's belief system. I've read the explanations for why bad things happen to good people. It doesn't make sense to me.
In your religion, God creates humans - without their permission - to put them in a test ("life") which determines whether they go to heaven or hell. Of course, everyone has a different test*, each with varying difficulties. So why test at all?
*Example: A person born in Saudi Arabia has much less a chance at becoming Christian than someone in America.
Kyle. It is the best strategy. God is a God of wrath because he does love us. Sin=Death. And he doesn't want anyone to perish. But to live forever. That's called love. It's not a religion. It's a relationship. And it's the most awesome thing you could ever do with your life. It's complete peace. Think about that.

"Fear God!" "God loves you!"
God is to be feared, but he loves us? What, is God a drunken spouse?
I'm just saying, maybe implying God will kick someone's ass is not the best selling strategy for a religion.
I'd mention the bread and wine. The wine especially. Anything with alcohol will catch a frat guy's attention, at least.
