  • not they got fired because rating were horrible, and Olberman turned MSNBC down why do they have lowest rating out of cable news networks.

  • I cant find the video of Ashley Banfields speach on Iraq that Ventura says got her fired. Anyone know where to find it ??

  • I'm so tired of mainstream pundits being so dismissive of anybody/anything they consider "conspiracy theory". So-called conspiracy theorists, for the most part, are simply nothing more than people who think critically, ask questions that make the majority (especially the elites) very uncomfortable... so they get demonized and ridiculed for it.

There are clearly some who take the "question everything" bit too far, but it's important to understand why the mainstream wants to generally smear CT's

  • "Its a head ache"

    because he kicked your ass.

  • The statement about the American News Media not supporting the truth about Iraq in 2002 is understated here. The view outside of the US, by the WORLD was, "What is Bush TALKING ABOUT? Saddam has NO WMD and didn't have a thing to do with 9/11!" So the world was trying to shake some sense in the US...but look at the RESULT of US actions! It cost the US trillion$! The US is HATED world wide. Over a MILLION Iraqis were killed! It was CRIMINAL!

  • Thank you, Cenk, for taking down every conspiracy theorist ever and noticing the scientific fact that simple rules can manifest into large, complex behaviors.

But I also have an update for anyone who sees this: since the time of this video, Olbermann left MSNBC a 2nd time because he could no longer stand it's corporate structure/nature, and since then, Olbermann has also confirmed that MSNBC did indeed wanna go right @ that point, but that Keith's unexpected success changed their minds.

  • @macgeek2004, watching this again now, after Cenk had his stint @ MSNBC I would like to hear what he thinks now...

  • cenk agrees to that conspiracy about the media, but he doesn't agree about 911...which is the case for 911...

  • Good example of why for-profit media(rating or subscription base) won't work.

  • @MrDaleaaaa

First, let me simplify things for you:

1.) Republicans (and "Truthers", for that matter) are the sheeple, NOT the American Left! In fact, a lot of time, the only people who AREN'T fucking sheep are the Progressives!

2.) Judging by the words you use, YOU are the brainwashed sheeple, NOT the "left"!

3.) This guy's not "commie, but very, VERY CAPITALIST. If you ever watched him, you would know.

  • if this video isn't proof that there is no left, I don't know what is....

    depressing..

  • these tyt asses put ron paul on they thought it would be like ross paroe .it back fiered .and they let somone talk intelegintly and truthfuly.thats the last thing this commie wants and i bet he will never be on tyt again these sheeple are commies if you didn't know their thing is to cause fear to scare stupid sheeple to vote for commie laws

  • Unfortunately it isn't always in our power as the audience to discern the truth. All we can do is decide what we believe, which isn't necessarily the same thing.

  • You know exactly why they didnt want to have people against the war. Who wants to go to war? The mainstream media has to feed the sheep of this country the lies that CNN, FOX, and MSNBC have been dishing out since the start of the 9/11 attacks. I used to love TYT, but I see that you have become a part of the mainstream. I do like your objectiveness in this piece, but you work for MSNBC now so they must have loved your stance on this issue. V for Victory-9/11 truth!

  • @NelDog420 They're not part of the mainstream, and they never will be.

And MSNBC still has Maddow, so they're not all bad.

  • @lukegreen37

    Maddow is SO stupid.

  • for having problems hosting a show, Ventura substituted for Larry King and hosted his show and it didn't look like he had a difficult time doing it...

  • i see the young turks like to kiss oldmans white asses... i gues msnbc will love these guys they only care about making money and say whatever they want pretneding to be obkective funny and intelligent, tyt are very good... ass kissers

  • Brandon Houlette

  • Cenk is most likely employed by MSNBC by now. That's the impression I get by these videos

  • Watch newly minted company-man Cenk spin for his paymasters...

  • MSNBC is owned by the largest defense contractor, General Electric.

Are you actually saying you don't believe 9/11 was orchestrated to justify the theft of trillions of dollars. GE/MSNBC is largely promoting the wars by the process of the 9/11 cover up and lying about most everything through outright lies or distortions or incomplete information/misinformation. MSNBC effectively molds it's programming so it achieves the promotion of the lies while keeping people watching with Olbermann.

  • Comment removed

  • Olbermann is an idiot and you protecting him, that speaks a lot about you. There is no left and there is no right. There is only banksters and their minions vs the rest of us. Cenk is a minion. 9/11 was an inside job. Your a sad journalist Cenk. You don't want to tackle the tough story eh? Follow the rest of your corporate media cronies you piece of garbage.

  • @Scobo11 Im with you...subjective journalism requires having the balls to cover stories that most people might not agree with until you can really smack it outta the park...But having someone from AE911truth or something would be perfect...The truth doesn't change just because the masses disagree with it...and Gandhi even said himself...the masses are wrong 9/10 times....Im tired of the misinformation we have to shovel through to get the facts anymore...its fuckin weak...

  • CENK WHY IS 911 A HEADACHE? This shit has been the root of every DAMN PROBLEM in the PAST 9 YEARS. Common guy give it what it NEEDS THE TRUTH!

  • This guy would make a good hypnotist, I can't stay awake listening to him.

  • @PrinceMio49 You would make an excellent epileptic patient.

  • @Dane42o Well I am not offended, I know a troll when I see one. Just not a fan of TYT.

  • @Dane42o I get your point and joke, but as an epileptic, knowing my next seizure could kill me, I dont feel it is humor material.

  • What a stammering idiot. Trying so hard not to offend Ventura or Olbermann.

    This guy has no balls.

  • What a balless turd. 2 Guys give completly different accounts of what happened and all he can say is they are both right. Typical confused Liberal.

  • Olberman turned MSNBC around? Really? Didn't Donahue get better ratings than Olberman?

  • So why was Olbermann against the war when Bush was in office and now says nothing about war at all that Obama is doing so badly in Afghanistan. Not even one comment Keith? War is ok now?

  • @prrolg Afghanistan is the hideout of the Taliban, the ones that REALLY DID 9/11, there was no reason to invade Irak, except to drill oil, the Bush's family business btw.

  • @DarkPractitioner You talk about Bush's family business like it was a flower shop or an apple orchard. One that few people need. I smell you people coming a mile a way usually. When you cover the worlds energy needs with windmills I'll sell you one of Bush's horses from the "Family stable" to tilt at them. Meantime Olbermann is a liar. That was my point

  • @prrolg WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY YOU PEOPLE?! And, how is he a liar? Because he didnt acknowledge that MSNBC lied and was pro-war? And you are the only independently minded person right? Weird you know, i still would say that Bush and his whole republican administration started that war, in the name of business, and i know MSNBC lies, i was from the very beginning agaisnt that war, in school or church i was censored, for speaking agaisnt it, still not even in tv i have one on my side.

  • @DarkPractitioner I meant liberals. Insane unhinged Bush haters like Bill Maher. But you may be black. Are you?

  • @prrolg No i'm not, but i can bet you are a republican supporter, as you cant even with evidence acknowledge their schemes.

  • @DarkPractitioner OK you aren't black. Thought you were mad there for a minute. I am not a republican supporter in that most people aren't aware of my party preference. Especially politicians. But i back Sarah Palin if she runs and vote republican about 3/4 of the time. I don't like to deal with the idea of schemes but I see democrats as schemers so I guess I'm guilty to some degree.

  • @prrolg Well, they are both schemers, even journalism is a scheme imo, but i decided that i would support the special interest group that i find less harmful, and the republicans, being linked to weapons, dirty energy business and conservative ideologies scared me off. I wish we had more options, i wish things were different, but they arent and they wont be any time soon.

  • @DarkPractitioner Well I see your point about support. But about weapons usually the blame falls on "Neocons" whatever that is and they are supposedly out of government now. You'd be surprised at who backs the arms industry (democrats) to make it the huge business that it is. Our VP Biden is a big weapons guy. Remember the armed vehicles thing he talked about? Yeah. And as for energy this green energy thing, making it seem like it's going to remove the need for oil and nuclear soon is a joke.

  • First, Daily Kos is a propaganda shillrag for the far left. Second, a REAL journalist/reporter does not and will not follow narratives.

  • @funk7000 DailyKos criticizes the "left" every day. They are far from lock step with the president, the democrats, or even the progressives. They report on facts and they have opinion pieces that are clearly labeled as such. They go to great lengths to delineate the two. Real journalists have and state opinions all the time when it is appropriate. Woodward and Bernstein for example go on MSNBC and CNN to report on the various narratives that are out there and provide their opinions when asked.

  • @funk7000 Indeed, it is their job to do so. If a network asks a journalist to provide his or her opinion on TV and it happens to fit within a certain narrative that is marketed to a certain audience, then that is perfectly acceptable as long as their facts are accurate and their opinions are separate from their facts.

  • As a conservative this guy hosting TYT show seems like a hell of a nice guy.I feel this way because I basically never agree with him but when he gives his opinion I never see him get vile or start the name calling bullshit. The lady who I have seen host with him is a idiot. As for Keith Olberman,I know alot of you liberals will disagree with me but here it goes.Olberman has zero credibility outside the extreme left.He is a baby who has guest on who totally agree with him.Ventura is cool also.

  • The corporate owned media wanted people to think Saddam was behind the 911 "attack" but they purposely lead people to that conclusion. So TYT is just doing the same thing by saying that they don't think the media did a good job. I say they did exactly what they wanted done. To purposely misinform the public.

  • Murder on the orient express" ..... They are all conspiring.

  • Olbermann and maddow are the worst 2 at fox, terrible reporters, completely bias agendas. Its sickening, this TYT is getting to be just as sickening really with this guy trying to defend fox's "honor"? lol.

  • @Uaz31 you would have a valid point if either Keith or Rachael worked for Fox. Both anchors work for MSNBC

  • @dom44444

U sure? Oh my bad then, still...can't trust any of the media when they show any bias instead of just reporting the story. When they start talking about how they fell about an issue then their reporting becomes objective.

  • I would tend to believe a man with a background such as Ventura over a pussy such as Keith Olbermann. Just my honest opinion.

  • That's really professional, to give all sides of the story, and focus on that instead of his opinion. Unfortunately he is not the norm in journalism, news reporting, ect. It's also unfortunate that this show isn't the norm in that it's not beholden to any super-corp. which would limit it's freedom to practice with out bias.

    Kind Of Sucks...

  • Donahue was fired for being anti war too. msnbc is owned by GE which is the biggest war profiteer.

  • Olberman is full of shit

  • K.O. isn't telling the truth for two reasons: Jesse's story can't be made up because of how detailed he described it. And second, it was all of MSNBC's story what Keith said, not just his. Joe S. in the morning went on a rant about Ventura and said the same thing K.O. In other words, the upper levels there told the commentators "this is the reason why Jesse left, go with it."

  • yo fuck you man

    youve gotta fuckin radio show

n you try to say that venturas a headache??

open your eyes you fucking moron

    we're all sheep

and you dont wanna know where the shepherd's leading the flock

  • And now you work for MSNBC Cenk?

  • Oberman's excuses for MSNBC sound like BS. If Ventura was so bad like they say why pay him for 3 years not to speak. If Donahue was too expensive why not lower the budget and see how his ratings hold up?

  • So short

    Ventura was right.

  • In the end he says that the media failed in giving the American people information, I don't think they've failed, it's pretty obvious that the media wanted people to think that saddam was responsible, so they did their job pretty well..there is no real journalism anymore..

  • What exactly are you trying to say Cenk? That MSNBC didn't buy Ventura's silence via contract? Donahue #1 rated show, dumped for anti war view? MSNBC wanted war just as much as any other corporation that stood to make huge profits from war. Olbermann is shit. Nailed Bush's ass to the wall and rightly so. Now listen to him. Dead silent as Obama EXPANDS what bush and co started.

  • this turk is a fag

  • Good response you gave both sides, but who watches Olbermann anyway.

  • This guy says "everyone has great credibility here???" This guy just lost any credibility he had by saying that. And Olbernamm saved MSNBC? What did he do......bring them from the sewer to the toilet?

  • times where different then in march of 2003, heck even I was more RW then than now, and to be agaist the war when it was just happening was suiside, but we live and we learn, and now MSNBC is slowly but surly becoming more progessive and left minded, as well as fair and blanced.

  • Olbermann is total scumbag, traitor to america and a known shill liar.

  • Cenk, are you saying that conservatives are pro-war? Apparently the neo-cons have ruined the word 'conservative'.

  • Cenk is covering for MSNBC because he wants a slot on it.

  • himself douchebag

  • Has Olbermann ever had a Democrat as "worst Person in the World"?

  • Olbermann and Madcow are Democratic party shills.

Fox News runs the Republican party.

    Its all about ratings.

  • Cenk had a good analysis until he showed that he is also stuck in the left vs right paradigm when he says being for the Iraq invasion is "further right". right now and under clinton is further left then? I think Cenk is a good guy

Vote out all incumbents and establishment endorsed politicians

Ron Paul said no to torture and the war in Iraq And all the bailouts

    anybody feelin that?

  • I think Olbermann puts up with MSNBC because at least it gives him a platform, if he left there would be no opposing voice to the O'Reillys, Hannitys and Becks of this world. - and the right wing would stand unchallenged. And he obviously can't criticise them because he is employed by them.

  • TYT doesn't get it.

The proof is in the pudding when their chapion acts.

They support to the ends of a totalitarian system.

Olbermann has been alright in my opinion,

    but Jesse is also right.

    Don't discount Jesse.

Olbermann is just sore b/c Jesse checked his cred.

  • @gotama420 al franken was working as a writer for SNL in 2001 you moron. he got elected to the senate last year.

  • Great job Cenk!

Touching on all of the subtleties with inside info is hard to beat.

I would just say that 'corporatism is the conspiracy' and that MSNBC could have made a decision to change the Donahue Show format. I think he was the big fish, but Jesse would have had mad ratings, middle America would have loved it. But then you have a popular 'populist' shows and the right-wing corporate media would not take that chance. War makes too much money to not be war-ranted.

  • Another well rounded balanced review of a story. Another example of how TYT is the best journalism this country has to offer.

  • Sorry Cenk

The mass media did a great job, serving those who influenced them to pursue a pro-war agenda.

As well as the writers, editors & directors of the blockbuster hit "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

We must understand its all about perspective, it is definitely serving someone.

  • My girlfriend doesn't like Cenk. She says he's annoying, and I spend more time watching TYT than I do with her! What should I do about this?

  • @Steve197201 You should spend more time with your girlfriend.

  • To those who for some reason think the elite don't get together and discuss these things then why not? Otherwise what are the Bilderberg group, Trilateral commission, CFR and Bohemian grove for?

The War Machine will keep making profits as long as we stay in the war and so many people are too blind to see what's really going on in this world to take action and stop it. The Media is controlled by the same people with the intent of keeping you in the dark.

  • @TriviumSamurai

"The Media is controlled by the same people with the intent of keeping you in the dark."

    Who is "The Media"?

And, in your mind, how deep does the conspiracy go? Are all the individual journalist in on it?

No one doubts money corrupts journalism just as it does politics but to believe in a vast ill-defined conspiracy without any substantial evidence implies that person has a difficult time dealing with complex issues & ambiguity

We all wish it were that simple but it aint.

  • @TriviumSamurai

Even if the majority of people KNOW whats going on, you're just going to rant on your blog about it. Just try to make a massive protest; you'll just be tear gassed.

All of these people who talk about the "coming" of a fascist government, really don't seem to grasp that we're already beyond that and there is really not a damn thing you can do about it.

  • @TriviumSamurai

Reality is a scary thing for those who arent ready for it... they get together but they dont talk like "who can we oppress the people today" But if they see their power slipping they'll state as if their own life is in peril when its really the other way around. If you were raised wit that much power& your family are polite personal people who'd think to yourself this is quite natural&wouldnt understand how people would think differently... "My dad is very nice to people"

  • What olbermann meant when he said Ventura was a "wreck" and they[MSNBC] wanted to pick another host to pitch topics to em, was that Ventura said controversial things and they wanted a handler for him so he wouldnt say anything controversial... i mean true.

I voted for em, he's a GREAT public speaker, he has no problem with that... he does have a problem with being muffled though or censoring his beliefs for the status quo... honesty just isnt welcomed in news these days.

  • all the US media is owned by corporations and they wanted the war for profits

  • You are boring!

  • @GJNCA "Somewhat"? Compared to what? Archie fucking Bunker?!

  • Maybe he wasn't in 'Nam, but ol' Jesse *was* in "Predator," which to my mind easily qualifies him for any elected office, crackpot or no. Even Sonny Landham unsuccessfully ran for governor of Kentucky. When are Carl Weathers and Bill Duke going to run? They have my vote.

  • Wow you are so reasoned and rational. People getting together in a smoke filled room sounds nuts to me, I mean if these elitist people do get together it's gotta be somewhere other then in a room.

  • @JesseVenturaNotASEAL You obviously don't understand what merge means? Yes the UDT"S dissolved because they went to the SEALS and former UDT's are all called SEALS now. He was in VIetnam, he just didn't see any action.

  • @JesseVenturaNotASEAL He was in Vietnam, he just didn't see any action. He is considered a SEAL now! He was a UDT and the UDT's and SEALS have MERGED! They're all called SEALS now!

  • @bluevoItaire

what you are saying is embarrassingly false.

    Shame on you.

  • Wow this guy sucks. His information, his background, his presentation, his tone of voice, his way of speaking, his delivery and his result are all terrible. This dude needs to be replaced. Whoever is funding him is wasting their money on a very short term investment. Wow....terrible.

  • @realrevolution2012 Don't bother watching him, then. Problem solved.

  • Olbermann should quit again because all MSNBC does is Palin stories...

    Let's be consistent..

  • @bluevoItaire Vietnam was still a combat zone whether he saw it or not. Technically he is a SEAL because the UDT's and SEALS merged and all of them are called SEALS now.

  • @bluevoItaire he never said he saw combat. He said he went to sere school which was required before going to the combat zone. The combat zone was Vietnam and he was there. Technically, he is a SEAL. He was a UDT and now the are called SEALS.

  • Prime example of how the left is full of shit. Cenk is tripping all over himself. PMSNBC is funded by the defense department. Olberman is trying to protect his employer.

  • @truthout911

No, Cenk is going to pains to give all sides to the story, and trying to remain objective until the end and he gives his personal opinion (which he clearly states is his personal opinion).

It's called journalism. I know it's been missing for a long time in pretty much every type of media, but that's what it is. He said Olbermann's side, Ventura's side, MSNBC's side, evidence for and against, and tried to remain neutral.

If only other journalists remembered what objectivity is.

  • @truthout911 I smell haterade. TYT Nation Motherfucker!

  • @truthout911

Nice reply. Instead of debating the content of my answer with your interpretation of the video that we have both watched, and furthermore giving reasons for your opinion, instead you attack me and attack Cenk without a shread of objective information.

You're the joke. You're the hack. And the sad irony is, you'll probably ignore what I've said, not actually listen to what I just wrote, and keep on your 'hollier than thou' attitude.

    Rather depressing really.

  • @bersaba Truth hurts doesnt sweetie. I believe in calling a spade a spade. That is what Cenk is. Maybe when you and Cenk grow up and start telling some truth, then maybe someone will take you seriously.

  • @bersaba come to england,we have the pro-ness of jeremy paxman, answer his damn questions or he'll repeat them until you look like a idiot

  • @bersaba No, Cenk is trying to tell us "what is" and not sound too brash or closed minded in doing so. Cenk made no mention of what Ventura stated clearly what was said about him on the phone by MSNBC execs.

  • @bersaba I agree level blaim in a flat fact analysis. Trouble is...even HIS show now on MSNBC he cannot and will not HAVE a 911 Truther Families OR AE911 Truthers on his show. WHY NOT ???

    Bob

    MyCommonSensePolitics

  • @bersaba You dare refer to this as journalism, and you believe that this shill adopts a neutral position? Do you read what you write? He and his commentary are less Switzerland and more Swiss cheese.

  • @bersaba he called 9/11 truth a headache. Not journalism: it's mixing lies and deceptions in with truth. Participating in the cover up of 9/11 is not journalism in any sense. In fact it is so destructive to the Constitution and the democracy, that it can be seen as nothing less than high treason against the American people. To put yourself out there as a member of the press and participate in such a terrible cover up is an abomination. 9/11 is the foundation of this mass murdering theft ring.

  • @bersaba Oh yeah, Cenk is the leader in objectivity...

  • Great job of playing both ends from the middle. Typical of folks who believe nothing.

  • @louiethegreater Yeah and that statement is typical of someone who doesn't do thier own thinking i.e. Dems and Reps. Cenks explanation sounds closer to what probably happened IMO.

  • lots of people wanted to go into iraq, but didn't really know why. Not many people thought of what would happen after saddam was ousted.

  • thank the stars for TYT ...........keep that third eye clear you guys.

  • granitehills2t... he is libertarian? then why did he say he wants a mix of socialism and capitalism, he is anti gov but not on the economy, he has said then their last interview he thinks a mixed economy is the best which is progressive.

  • @PsykodelikCyoldier

I think you've missed the point of being a libertarian entirely.

    There's no party doctrine.

  • I love how all of the lefties kiss Jessie's nuts when he is attacking Bush. Unfortunatly he is way more Libertarian and anti government than ko and you tyt douche bags are ever going to realize. Go kiss Bill Burtons ass and save it.

  • Some one has to tell me, what was so conservative about GW? He increased spending, grew gov bigger than ever, and did nothing to halt social policies his constituents demanded.

Tax cuts meant nothing since their was no spending cuts. Borrowing instead of raising taxes was stupid, and in my mind fraud.

  • Cenk you forgot to mention GENERAL ELECTRIC being the parent Company of NBC/MSNBC. General Electric is the Military Industrial company making the war machine for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. They have made huge profits from the wars. This just exposes the Left/Right paradigm as a false dichotomy.

  • First place at the point of the buildup to the Iraq war, MSNBC was veering to the right, the liberal identity (which is fundamentally a marketing strategy) of the network came later...anyways its irrelevant, GE no longer owns NBC, Comcast does

  • GE held an 80% share of MSNBC now its 49% GE and 51% Comcast. They still own half of MSNBC.

  • @DodgeVip3r They sold NBC a while ago...

  • They havent sold all of it just half to Comcast

  • Theres only one conspiracy at work, its called CAPITALISM

  • No. Antipyrene...its called "CORPORATISM"....and you're right...its an evil conspiracy. We don't have real free market Capitalism.

  • You're delusional if you think that 'free market" capitalism won't inevitably degenerate into corporatism

  • @antipyrene

I thought me and Noam Chomsky were the only ones that could see that.

  • Vedntura ROCKS.

Love the guy...he's intelligent, and he served our country, he knows his shit...very interesting guy!

  • Have you actually watched MSNBC? Tamron Hall isn't black?

  • You watch MSNBC, FOX, CNN? If you believe what is on TV, you are too far gone to help. Not one person of color in management on ANY of the corporate networks, very few on air, if any. Turn off the brainwashing. Think for yourself. Look at what is REALLY going on. Hitler's backers won WW2. We have been told we won. No, we did not, all went as planed. The same agenda is still in place and it has one color, white.

  • Cenk Rocks!

  • yeah go and check out Venturas ratings on TruTv with his new show compared to the rest of cable in its time slot, guess what it just got picked up for another season

    :P

  • CNN interviewed Jesse where he admitted he believes there is a alien mother ship hovering over earth giving commands to our government.

    total wack job...

  • Im pretty sure you over exaggerating a bit lol. If you could link me.

  • He believes some pretty crazy shit, but if he actually said THAT, he might have actually been joking.

  • @1Guitarslayer Maybe if politicians stopped acting like reptiles, people wouldn't have a good reason to believe there are aliens in government.

  • Ventura is a good person!!

  • @bcherbs Ventura was speculating and it provoked a response from Olbermann.

Olbermann is just pissed off and mud-slinging.

  • @bcherbs he helps lead our nation

  • I know that Jesse's show "Conspiracy theory" is the best show I've seen on t.v., so I don't buy the story Jesse sucked!

  • Can this guy bend over (forward) anymore for msnbc? I know he wants to be on msnbc so bad, he would be willing to take one for the team, but he's being way too careful about what he's saying. Grow a pair dude and say what you mean! And now people on msnbc can't be against the war because Obama is president now? WTF?

  • Yeah this guys suckin off msnbc like a career move. Just like conservatives bend over for fox news, this guy would take it up the ass in a heart beat to get regular on a nationally syndicated program.

  • IT'S A CONSPIRACY!! THERMITE PAINT!!!

shut up, Ventura...you were a Navy Seal working in demo, we get it...that was decades ago, demo's changed quite a bit since then...go wear your foil hat with the rest of the Area 51 whackjobs...you're cukoo for cocoa puffs just like the rest of them...you're just a famous one

  • ITS A CONSPIRACY!! Cave dwellers hijack planes with box cutters and perform amazing aerial maneuvers and bring down towers for the first time in history due to fire. Black boxes never found (also a first). One of the 19 hijackers comes back from the dead and appears on the BBC in Morocco. Who's wearing the tin hat now?

  • Cave dwellers? They were all university educated, four went to flying school, Atta was an architectural engineer, he actually studied how skyscrapers were put together in a university in Hamburg for a couple of years.

And the guy in Morocco was a case of mistaken identity, he just happened to be somebody with the same name who worked for an airline.

  • Many many people overseas are university educated. Especially in Muslim countries since they are state sponsored institutions. What a university education has to do with anything I mentioned only you can answer. It was mentioned several times in the media shortly after the attacks (same day) that the government were 90% sure they knew that Bin Laden's men had carried out the attacks while living in a "cave" (or multi-billion dollar underground bunker).

  • The hijackers were educated in Hamburg. That is where they all met up.

And it was the MONEY that came from bin Laden. He could wire it in from any cave he likes, as long as he has messengers to do it through.

  • That's some nice unconfirmed speculation, you sure you don't work for the government?

  • All you truthers HAVE is unconfirmed speculation.

  • confirmation is in the pudding as the old saying goes.

"Though they have eyes they do not see, they have ears but do not hear." You go ahead and believe your government while they treat you on a need to know basis. You don't need to know (nor do I) because in their eyes we are expendable and admittedly they are right.

  • There's something called deductive reasoning which seems to be lacking in most of my fellow Americans in this day and age. There are so many gaping holes in the official story, I find it truly sad and exasperating to have to point them out. Very few learn from history either so I guess we deserve to get continuously duped.

  • The holes in the truther story are so big you can literally fly a plane through them.

  • I'm not sure what the "truther story" is, all I am going by is deductive reasoning, contemporary history and an official story that requires cognitive dissonance to believe. Look, I understand how people do not want to believe that "their" government would kill their own people to carry out an agenda but any reader of history would see it happens all too frequently.

  • I have heard pretty much ALL of the truther stories. And there are massive holes in all of the ones I have heard.

The only way I could see governmental complicity is one or two people deliberately interfering with antiterrorist investigations, in order to allow a major terrorist attack to happen... But this in itself would be far too risky for if one person in particular was acting to hamper things and behaving suspiciously.

  • @dangerouslytalented funny you should mention the interference in anti-terrorist investigations because that is what happened according to CNN. Bush told the FBI to back off investigating these "masterminds" while they were in flight school. The instructors of the flight school did think it was odd that these "students" had no interest in landing and contacted the FBI.

i'm sorry it is so easy to fool people but the powers that be have a great grasp of mass psychology.

  • @luce67 Failure does not equal complicity. Do you know how many terrorist warnings the FBI gets every day?

  • @dangerouslytalented

You should check out the periodic table of elements. Find out the ingredients of jet fuel, and whether it burns hot enough to literally melt steel. Building 7 wasn't even hit by a plane, yet it too collapsed into its own footprint. Ask any fireman how hot office fires can burn. If you still see holes, see Noam Chomsky's "Manufactured Consent" on Hulu.

  • @connoisseurodg Jet fuel burns at 700 degrees, office furniture burns at a variety of temperatures, depending on what it is made from, but it does not HAVE to actually melt the steel. It only has to weaken the steel. And 700 degrees can weaken steel by causing it to expand, and this expansion weakens the internal structure, as it is held up by its own internal tension. and was already weakened by PLANE CRASHES.

  • @dangerouslytalented

I know remember when they showed the plane fly into the Pentagon? Oh wait, the CIA confiscated all available video and released 3 frames that show no plane, but a huge explosion. Oh well.

  • @connoisseurodg Tell me, how many security cameras do you know of are pointing UPWARDS? Because the plane was approaching from a level that was well above ground level, where pretty much all security cameras are pointed. In order for a security camera to get the approach of the plane, it would have had to be pointed UPWARDS and LEFT and at a 45 degree angle from the facade that got hit

  • @dangerouslytalented

Why confiscate all security video from surrounding structures? What is there to hide? Why did both Bush & Cheney speak out against & block an independent investigation? Why did they have such a hard time finding someone to stay head of the 9/11 Commission? why did the building fall at free-fall speed (literally no resistance on the way down. And these enormous, steel framed structures didn't tip either. They came straight down, son. Straight down!!

  • @connoisseurodg "confiscate"? the security footage was taken so they could try to ascertain exactly how things happened. If they did NOT take the camera tapes, then I would have reason to be concerned. Bush and Cheney did not want too big an investigation because they wanted to hide their incompetence and declare war on Iraq, and the buildings did NOT fall at freefall speed, not even close, and they did not tip, because there was no lateral force pushing them over.

  • @dangerouslytalented

And of all the tapes confiscated, 3 frames of video were released. How many planes did you see in that video? Ball park?

  • @connoisseurodg Not many cameras were pointing upwards, they were all up high pointing downwards, WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE.You think that the security cameras are looking for low flying aircraft? And in ALL THAT TIME, you think they would have gotten sombody to fake some footage up using 3D animation... No, they had just TWO cameras (that were not destroyed) that caught the action, one in the parking lot and one across the street in a gas station. And the gas station was not too clear.

  • @dangerouslytalented

And the hotel that towered over the Pentagon? C'mon now, stay on your toes!

  • @connoisseurodg The hotel that towered over the pentagon? The flightpath was directly over the cloverleaf intersection. The path of damage, both the lightpoles that were hit and the damage within the pentagon shows this. And I had a good look at the google map of the area in question, and there are no hotels close enough with a good clear view of the crash zone.

  • @dangerouslytalented

Audio Interview 9/16/04: "[Flight 77] could not have flown at those speeds which they said it did without going into what they call a high speed stall. The airplane won’t go that fast if you start pulling those high G maneuvers at those bank angles. To expect this alleged airplane to run these maneuvers with a total amateur at the controls is simply ludicrous."

  • @dangerouslytalented

That was Capt. Russ Wittenberg, U.S. Air Force – Former Air Force fighter pilot, over 100 combat missions. Commercial pilot for Pan Am and United Airlines for 35 years. Had previously flown the actual two United airplanes that were hijacked on 9/11. By the way, the 9/11 Commission has zero faith in their report. Do you know how many members jumped ship?

  • "deductive reasoning which seems to be lacking in most of my fellow Americans in this day and age" that's right, blame EVERYBODY ELSE...and back-handedly at that, stroking your ego, implying that it's not lacking in you

the fact is this: if what you're saying was really true and as impactful as you think, then 1) it should be put in a VERY obvious way because people aren't going to look it up themselves, and 2) you have GOT to have better "evidence" than this, because this just isn't cutting it
