@Krofius Yeah, that maybe what usually happens but in cases like Britney's and a lot of other music artists music producers and writers send them songs. Its what people in the biz call "Shop Season". I've seen it a hundred times where the artist will get a demo track from say Danga or Timbaland just to see how the song is intended to sound and whether or not the artist wants to record it. I remember watching a documentary on Britney and this process was talked about and I've also seen it.
