Crabs with guns is goofy, unless that's your goal. Otherwise, give them some cool crab-like projectile/weapon.

Hawken = 9 guys, 10 months, Most of whom are Industry / movie professionals and are being paid to work on it by either a publisher or an investor, James Hawkins for example, is the guy who designed Markus for Gears Of War, and probably most of the concept art for it aside from that as well, since he has worked at EPIC games for years and years. Not Exactly "indie" despite them calling themselves indie.

We on the other hand at the point of that video were 1 to 3 guys, for maybe 1 month?

@PlayGroundState Well, i just stated the other game gonna crush this as an euphoric mecha fan; but your are also right , if you guys got this in 1 month its awesome , maybe its not the same type of game as HAWKEN but you will get your fan community, every effort brings its reward.

And well, HAWKEN can be called an indie game as Independent video games (commonly referred to as indie games) are video games created by individuals or small teams without video game publisher financial support.

@kikeo indeed, well, The Knight himself may tickle your fancy, he has some mech like elements in his design, but that aside, I am quite certain hawken does have financial support, I just do not know where it comes from. personal wealth or an investor or a publisher, I am not sure. and dont get me wrong either, i love hawken, its one of the most motivating UDK projects iv seen, Finally gives us UDK project to look up to artistically.

@PlayGroundState dont get me wrong sir, your graphics are wonderful too! also the water is amazing, nearly as good as the water FX in Shogun Totalwar 2 (best water fx i have seen so far, its beautiful to watch it). And i am sur your will do a BRUTAL game with the correct funding; something i loved into your video was the bg music :) and i have seen your page for getting donations, but you guys need really help on the advertising campaign to get more money...>>>
