The old three speed Dodge trannies lasted.Just these new overdrive versions.More heat and friction with the bigger ratio.The clutches wear out sometime over 100,000.Just did mine at 129,000 put fresh clutch packs in and put a big trans cooler on it hopefully that will help it last.Nothing else was wrong with it.

I got a 90' ram w150. tranny just fuckin went today, callin jasper monday. it had 155,000 miles right around when dodge trannys go. I love my dodge but im not gonna boast about it nd degrade other makes bc i know dodge trannys suck. it was a 3spd + OD. yet another fuckin hole burnt in my pocket haha

yeah i had a two friends one had a hummer h1 and a the other was runnin a 03 f150 and i yanked the hummer out in 2002 and it broke a crossarm and a wishbone...and the ford that i pulled out..ppuuullleeedddd ooouuuttt...the fuckin subframe twisted and broke several welds to the housing on the tranny..lol

my friend yanked my truck out which is an 86 ram and i knocked my allignment off which was fucked anyway but a reballance later and no problems..what so ever..now thats built to last..
