i have a lot of respect for this guy. It's humbling going from being in a huge band then having to do what it takes to get by. I hope he is doing well.
I don't get it... what happened? He didn't make a truckload of money with the Misfits???? Why the hell did he end up working at IHOP when the records he made with them sold millions of copies?
@MrFrost227 Yeah, people may not be too knowledgeable about how being on a major record label really works. Mr. Graves may have been the singer for those 2 albums, but he was treated like hired help. He was not getting a cut in merch sales, due to the Misfits name and logos being trademarked by Glen and Jerry. So, basically, he was getting a small cut for touring and an even smaller cut from album sales. Not much cash to sustain somebody for the rest of their life.

Graves talked for about a minute about the tour and the ride over, I have also met jerry only, he was also very nice and talked to me and my brother about the adicts, and the uk subs, he also let me and my brother hold his bass and ripped his shirt off, signed it and gave it to me, he also gave my brother his big ass wrist sweat bands, robo, gave me his drum stick and signed it.

@JennieRevolver Yes it was pretty cool all together, i didnt expect danzig to be very humble in the first place, so it didnt suprise me that he only signed about 7-10 autographs, he is known to have a dark personality and a fucked up ego, but to a long time punk like me, it is nothing new and i was still greatful for the time i got to see him, i have met many punk artists and few of them were nice, ive met Henry Rollins and Keith Warren and Fat Mike, Marky Ramone and Dez Cadina.

I saw Michael Graves live with the Misfits twice, they were the best concerts ive ever seen in my life. He had a great stage presence, a great voice and the whole place went crazy and was singing every song with him. Not to mention he's a cool dude and a nice guy to top it off. Man i hope he's still doing music cause he's great, I would love to see him back with the Misfits.
