I suggest the city of Santa Monica prohibiting taxi drivers shouldnt drive more than 12 hours because most taxi companies lease is very expensive( taxi taxi) compare to La major cab companies. The cab drivers slept in the car to make more money and it is dangers for there health and affect there driving performance.

1. Less cab operated and administer by few cab companies it reduce confusion for taxi users and charged different price.
2. The meter is will be the same and controlled by city.
3. Most companies should put hybrid cabs in the city.
4. The hotels are must be open for all should stop exclusive for one or two companies and share the business equally (example city of Los Angeles cabs).
