  • Like If you Believe in God :)

  • Atheism - there is no God and no immortal soul you stupid stupid Christians. We are nothing but a pile of neurons. That love stuff, that really is just biochemical reactions to make your ego stronger for survival. You really dont have relationships that truly matter. They are just people who help you effeciently propogate your DNA. "Nothing but atoms on a ball of dirt who think we are in control. Fate laughs at us stupid stupid atoms. Yay for atheism.

  • Here's free will for you:

    As of 2012

less than 1% of prisoners in the US prisons are Atheists.

    > 75% of prisoners in the US prisons are Christians.

The rest follow some other religion.

And ~10% of the US population now are Atheists. So guess what, Atheists are better than Christians, more morally superior and clearly know the difference between right and wrong without needing the help of a book, which clearly isn't helping them anyway.

  • Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. 'The' Way, not 'a' way. Fear of God is a good thing, as those who have it will think twice about sinning instead of rushing headlong in. Read John 14:6

  • ‘Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,’ 2 Peter 3:3

  • THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREEWILL TO BEGIN WITH. NOR FREEDOM FOR THAT MATTER. NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE...

  • Yeah, it can be pretty obnoxious when religious people try an force their beliefs on other people. I know because I used to do that :) lol

  • It seems like "God" is very threatening, if you dont belive in me then you'll go to "hell". I dont understand all this religion stuff:/

  • Soo let me get this right.

Christians believe in God. = Heaven

Atheist's believes in no God = HELL

Wouldn't it make sense to just believe in God? because if the Christian dies and he was wrong he loses nothing just dies no heaven no hell.

But If the Atheist dies and he was wrong he has more to lose than the christian. Really its 50/50 lol. Glad i can Help.

  • @celatino I love this idea, because it really makes you think. So what if a Christian is wrong, no problems after. Atheists...well yea bad!

What I don't understand is why so many people have such strong hatred of Christians or Atheists. Why would I hate an Atheist because of what he believes?? Why can I not talk to him in a cordial manner and have a clean debate? And that is what makes me wonder who is on the right side. So much hatred towards Christians on the internet.

  • @Walpernator it is the same from christians towards atheists and agnostics if i tell a christian i believe in god but not in what it say's in the bible or that jesus was the son of god and that i feel organized religion is man made probably for its leaders to gain profit and power witch they have they say i will burn in hell and say i am stupid for turning my back on god

  • Why is it there are so many types of media trying to prove God doesn't exist ? Your putting more faith into Science, doctors and facts than your emotions and soul for disproving one's existence. Would you put so much faith into someone or an idea of YOURS where if something goes wrong in anyway your screwed ? Free will wasn't just invented one day by us. If atheists are such better people than those who hold beliefs, then why do they waste time with this instead of volunteering?

  • God is a bully FACT

  • @Gamer1990100 I'd say merciful to a DEGREE.

  • @TheConsortiumMember True at least he let's us live a few decades.

  • Read the Bible and then say this again. I guarantee that if you're even vaguely intelligent, you will redact your statements.

I'm agnostic. I can't say whether or not God is real. I know that from my limited understanding, there is no conflict.

  • @TheAdmiralPancake I changed my views a little bit now anyway. I just don't care about religion anymore. I'm agnostic too. I have a bible at home, but I never read, I'm not really interested in religion anymore. religion used to bother me because of personal problems, but I don't care now. I guess I should make a video why i used to bash religion...

  • @TheRulezzzzzz

I was being kind of rude, too. Sorry. :D

Also, I'd describe myself as more of an atheist. I can't say for certain, but my money's on God not being real.

  • Comment removed

  • OMG MAKAROV I FOUND YOU

  • I think exactly the same way like this man on the video. Greeting

  • lol... i agree!!! please sub back

  • @mrproductioniscool Simple. The universe which is finite was created. Therefore there had to an cause that caused the universe to exist, which isnt included in the universe itself, otherwise it would just be part of the endless action - reaction processes that resulted in the universe as we know it.

  • Atheists,as usual are so fulll of their shit pride. You argue and argue and argue about "proof" so what exactly?you want God to come down every day in a rainbow pony to show himself to you for you to finally believe?whats the point of your life being a test of faith if God makes it so easy?seriously?who would really earn a reward in paradise that way?

  • If your title is true, then:

    i=(Ln(-((God + Freewill)/Bullshit)))/π

Can you prove this? Good luck :)

  • If god is all-knowing how can we have free will because he knows what we will do and think. This is why god (in the way Christians describe him), and freewill cannot be co-existent.

  • War is very very wrong! who agrees? then look in to my channel

  • I agree, you're a fucking dumbass.

  • there is to much shumshumshum

  • Yeah i'd hate god too if he gave me the facial features of a cross-eyed fish and a speech impediment...

  • @Jabberwocky818 You are an ignorant pedofile and I am quite sure this guy could kick your ass both phsycially and intellecually...you are a jerkoff, plain and simple. Everyone told you that you should have stayed and finished highschool but no...it was just plain too hard for you...so now you are suck writing comments such as this for the rest of your life. Good luck in prison.

  • @AtheistSongs You inferred all that from one sentence I wrote? Haha OK. Calm down there, Freud. Perhaps it's time to cease coming up with arbitrary assumptions for you're own simplistic amusement and realize you're doing exactly what you're criticizing me for.. Except you're terrible at it... Delusions of grandeur based on the absent intelligence you are seemingly under the influence that you possess will get you nowhere in life. Welcome to reality my slow-witted friend. It's going to be tough.

  • I didn't understand a single word you said, dude...

  • /watch?v=joN_kwuOKG4&feature=channel_video_title

  • He gave you the freewill to say that.

  • You are so fucking hot :D I love the glasses dude!

  • I tell believers the following:

I will say or do whatever God wants me to do. I will NOT say or do what MAN says that God wants me to do. So far, I have not heard God say anything.

  • @endurablecoder It's hard to hear anything, when you're not listening.

  • Comment removed

  • @You13ow2Me13itch I base my beliefs on facts and not rumors, propaganda, superstition, hype, threats, and promise of award. There are no intelligent reasons for not having hard facts to prove God's existence. If you hear it from God, then God created it.......but if you hear it from man, then man created it. After all, you would think that God would want us to have accurate and timely information so that we can do his work.

  • @endurablecoder Thats good. I also don't base my beliefs off any of that. Why would He want us to have accurate and timely information? He wants us to do what is right based on what we feel is right. He doesn't want us to do right because we feel like we have to. Same case where people ask why would an omnibenevolent God allow so much evil in the world? You cannot call yourself a creature of good if it is not within your power to do otherwise.

  • @You13ow2Me13itch The reason for having accurate and timely information for example, is to prevent suicide bombers from killing people in the name of Allah so that they can receive their 72 virgins, etc, and to prevent kids and adults from dying from faith healing because it is against their religion to seek medical health. Since there are no accurate information, believers can be manipulated to do horrible things in the name of God or Allah.

  • @endurablecoder Death is just another part of life. If all the innocents lived to be 100, there would be no times for heroes. No times for bravery or courage. Its when times are bad that human beings truly shine. War is ofcourse terrible, but the soldiers fighting in it experiance a bond for their brothers that you will probably never experiance. A bond that will let them risk their own life to save their friends. If everything was handed to us, we would never learn, never grow.

  • @You13ow2Me13itch I will bond with those who promotes justice, human rights, and are against atrocities committed by humans. I cannot bond or be persuaded by religious teachings to kill innocent people in the name of God/Allah.

  • @endurablecoder Haha I doubt that.

  • @endurablecoder wow...your 60? You're 10 years older than my dad. Better get on those bonds you're talkin about.

  • if you read the ten comandments they are really logical and very true. Its just true. its right and wrong truth and lie. God my friend is right and wrong is wrong. its wrong for a man to lie to you i think and so does God. its not very complicated as people make it man. good and evil right and wrong truth and lie. the proof i have that i am right is have a person commit every singal 1 of the ten commandments against you im sure you would say that was wrong but if they kept everyone that is right

  • Which Commandments? The 670 ones from the original biblical text. Or the ten from before the 1950's, or the ten new revised commandments from the Heston film, "Moses." By the way every current surviving theology teaches that usual murder's is immoral, unless of course your killing someone from another theology. They all say that's okay...if the conversion fails, of course. Theology keeps us ignorant and you my friend wear that hat very well.

  • deuteronomy 5 6-21 ten commandmets. in Christianity my duty is to step infront of you if a bullet is coming nomatter what faith you are or if you wana kill me my job is to die for you. not every theology says that you should kill the other person my friend just to clear that up. i wear alot of hats but not that one. im not affended by you bro please dont be affended by the faith.

  • Do you keep the sabbath?

  • i sure try to leave 1 day a week separate for me to just relax but sometimes my work asks me to work 9 10 days in a row. I think you have the view that Christians think they are perfect and can keep the law of God if that were true my friend Jesus wouldnt have died for our sins. because if we on our own marrit could have been perfect human beings and never causing anyone harm or saying no to our parents as foolish children this earth would be perfect and not infected by lust of flesh eyespride

  • It doesn't say 'one day per week', it says Sabbath, meaning Friday Sundown to Saturday sundown. Jesus ended the sacrificial system, he also said he didn't come to abolish the law either.

It doesn't matter if work asks you to work 9 or 10 days in a row, you're still violating a commandment which you claimed to be "really logical" & "very true".

  • God worked 6 days and rested on the 7th so it depends when my monday or your monday is sir. Grace because no man on earth has ever on his holiest of days been able to keep all the commands of God therefor Christ paid for that on the cross. Christ came to fullfill the Law which we couldnt so threw Him we could have a relationship with God. Christ lived the life i needed and all needed to live im not claiming any kind of holier then thou or im a good christian. infact the other way around :)

  • You talk about how "really logical" and "very true" the 10 commandments are and already compromising when the Sabbath is.

I never said you claimed to have the holier than thou attitude.

I understand Christian Theology very well. I was a Christian for 20 years.

Question: What do you call 'breaking God's law'?

  • your just picking a fight sir. i understand theology well to im a bible teacher at cbc. breaking Gods law is not obiedence to Him and His Word. Gods law is the law for all men and you sir our making your own religion up so slow down. look at all the death and glory of sin around you. you need grace sir i dont want to fight with you your a very confused person. if you know christian theology so well yet you deny Christ

  • I'm not picking a fight, I'm pointing out some inconsistencies with your thinking and showing you a different perspective. Also if you think disagreeing with someone is picking a fight, then you really need to step back and take a second look.

    I can't be making my own religion, I don't have a religion.

    Would you call disobedience, sin??

  • yes it is a sin and i see you trying to lure me into a place where you can try and explain why you think that God has no right to call disobedience sin ive talked with many men like you sir. im sure you have a splendid point and a great perspective as do many men. the fact remains no man has ever lived the perfect life in there mind body and soul. love and forgiveness sir is what Christ offers you if you want to take it up with God He has your answer in job 38:) i hope you come back to faith...

  • Back to the point, you're breaking the sabbath and trying to justify it by saying you try and take one day out per week and say you have no choice when work wants you to work 9 days in a row (man that must suck working 9 days straight)

You say the 10 commandments are "really logical" and "very true" but are already making excuses to why you break them.

I understand in Christian Theology you don't follow the law to be saved. I understand this very well (to be cont'd)

  • (cont'd)

I'm trying to show you point out your inconsistencies. You can't say one thing and mean another, this is a form of deception whether you're aware of it or not.

So please explain to me how the 10 commandments are "very logical" and "very true"

    I'm still waiting.

    Cheers.

  • hmm, "breaking God's law" sounds good to me..

  • @neomatrix031 how bout "breaking gods jaw" sounds better...if he existed

  • tell me which ones bother you and i will give you the proper deffinition of the commandment that has you confused its called exejesis if a form of biblical interpitation which give you the context of that time period and doesnt contrudict anything in the bible if you properly interpet the text

  • I'm not sure about religeon and I don't know if there is any truth to it or not, but I am trying to figure it out. But if you believe God is in control or not, either way doesn't make you a useless person. No matter who is in control you can still help other people. Problems can occure in our lives when we focus too much on ourselves. Sometimes it is better to focus on other people and how we can help them. This can be a way to live a happy life and you will never be useless.

  • It's pretty simple for me to be an atheist. People who follow holy book teachings as proof of a god, are walking a thin line. It is so simple to show their holy books as fairytale compilations. Once you show them the crap in their 'proof' they cannot keep the silly sky daddy belief. The whole concept of god is against free-will. How can anyone have free-will when this god controls everything(according to them) and knows what is going to happen, no matter what we say or do? It's all crap.

  • @saxmanchiro Completely false actually. Many believers do not believe that God controls everything. Some believe he set the world in motion and watches it play out. Some say we all have a destiny and there is no free will. But how do you know that your destiny was not chosen out of your own free will? What if you had a destiny and every path you chose to take in your life led you to the same inevitable outcome. There are many different views of free will. You need to broaden your mind and think.

  • @You13ow2Me13itch Please provide evidence of your sky daddy. If you can't. it's all a delusion. No matter what level of dogma you practice, you are still claiming a supernatural being exists or existed and "set the world in motion" bull. Please support your claim and then I can "broaden my mind" with that evidence. Until then, you are still pushing a fairytale story, no different than any other fantasy you can dream up. I think just fine, thank you.

  • @saxmanchiro Provide evidence for me that the universe was created without Gods help. If, what you say is true, and you cant...than its all just a delusion.

  • @You13ow2Me13itch Again, I need to remind you that you are making the claim of god(whatever that is) and not me. I don't need to disprove anything since I am not claiming that this entity exists, you are. Using any holy text as proof is circular logic and doesn't stand up to scrutiny. While you are at it, I can ask you to show evidence for hundreds of extraordinary claims within your particular holy book as well. But the god part is hard enough. Faith is believing without evidence. Silly logic

  • @saxmanchiro I'm not using texts as proof. Why the hell would I do that?

  • @You13ow2Me13itch Ok, now we know what you don't use for proof. How about telling us what you WOULD use to convince anyone that a particular deity exists? I like this quote. It sums up quite succinctly that we are very similar in our stance, up to a certain point.

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."- Stephen Roberts

    Your proof?

  • @saxmanchiro Proof is on an individuals basis. Everyone is given signs, but most choose to ignore them. I could tell you my proof, but you wouldnt understand because its personal to me. I'll leave it at this...coincidence. Random coincidences day in and day out. Once a certain coincidence happens again...and again...and again. You begin to realize that coincidence, is nothing.

  • @You13ow2Me13itch Nope. Proof or evidence is not individualistic. Sorry, but after 45 yrs, I still have yet to even inspect a single piece of evidence put forth by any thiest for any particular god/deity. Like I said to you earlier, we are both atheists when it comes to 99.9% of gods constructed by humans. I just add one more to my list to make it 100%.

Delusions are mental constructs that are false and maintained despite indisputable evidence to the contrary.

  • @saxmanchiro False actually. I believe in Allah, God, Jehova and Zues and Thor. All my life, I never had any problem with other religions. Even when i was eight i remember thinking, "Oh they just call God a different name...thats completely fine." I figured if I was god, the last thing i would care about is what people called me. Before you say, "No theres noway they could be considered the same God, their views are total opposites." let me ask you this. Does everyone view you the same?

  • @saxmanchiro no, God doesnt control everything, he lets u be, or fuck urself, its ur desision.like ur dad and mom he are there for u but u decide for ur life.

  • @jennaflor How do you know this? Care to expound on this comment?

  • @saxmanchiro If god is all knowing then he would easily be able to tell everything that has ever happened and everthing that will happen. So as a human we make our own choices and are face with our results. However, god, who knows everything, is able to know what will happen even before we do.

  • @Orangejuiceownz So this god fellow is not controlling anything?

  • @saxmanchiro Nope.

  • @Orangejuiceownz How can you be so sure? Did he make you and other humans in his own image? Or is that a crock?

  • @saxmanchiro Nope, he didn't, so a yes to your last question.

  • @Orangejuiceownz What is your particular dogmatic position then? Which god or gods do you think exist? If this god is all knowing, how do you know this and what proof do you possess to support your claim? Don't dare use a holy text, supposedly written by this same deity, as proof. That's called circular logic.

  • @saxmanchiro Who ever said it was a matter of proving something? Ultimately religion is a matter of faith. I truly believe that a deity created the universe based on the information I have been provided with. So I can't "prove" that god exists.

If I told you I knew everything in the world that would be circular logic.

If I showed you I knew everything in the world it wouldn't be.

  • @Orangejuiceownz Faith= what you do without evidence. Pretty nuts. You don't do anything else in your life with faith giving you guidance or protecting you from harm or even death. You don't understand how silly you sound. Understanding things and how they work is based on evidence, evidence that you count on to make important decisions every second of the day. But when it comes to your god, you throw all logic out the window. That's plain silly.

  • @saxmanchiro Your telling me you base all of you decisions on logic? Our emotions are one of our strongest traits. To not have faith would be inhuman. And no matter how much theories that are provided, you cannot be sure that I am wrong. You can only theorize it. While I believe one hundred percent in what I'm saying. You may call it foolish, but how could something silly be so convincing? Insults reflect something of the person who speak them, I assume that your unsure, but thats only a theory.

  • @Orangejuiceownz I base ALL of my decisions on logic, as you do. Is this notion so foreign to you? Example: You wake up to an alarm clock(science) that receives electricity(sci) or your cell phone(sci). You sense that your bedroom is real hot, around 120deg F. You would most likely figure that your house is on fire or your furnace(sci) is broken. You quickly look around, smell for smoke, check the thermostat(sci), look outside, our look for the cause of the heat. No faith needed, just facts.

  • @saxmanchiro All decisions? You base MOST of your decisions on inductive reasoning, which is a form of logic. However, inductive reasoning isn't always accurate. It's a confident guess at what the truth is, not at all different from faith.

  • @Orangejuiceownz Faith is done without reasoning of any kind. It requires one to totally relinquish their reasoning mind and depress all rational thought to be able to hold onto such bullshit. Confidence in a guess is called an educated guess, inference based on prior knowledge. With faith, you have to forget all previous experiences and go on 'faith' , which lacks all evidence.

  • @saxmanchiro I agree.

So... why are you bitter against god?

  • @Orangejuiceownz This bitterness you perceive from me would be the same bitterness you might have for Zeus, Apollo, Ra, Unicorns, Leprechauns, Neptune, Thor, (insert any mythical figure/being/animal/creature here). You don't understand this simple fact. I do not hold your belief in your god or any gods, therefore I cannot be bitter towards something that I deeply feel is nonexistent, like the previous list I mentioned. How can someone be mad or bitter towards a nonentity?

  • @saxmanchiro If you don't believe in god, then what do you believe in?

  • @Orangejuiceownz I believe in the truth.

  • @saxmanchiro SO ARE YOU 100 PERCENT SURE GOD ISN'T REAL?

  • @Orangejuiceownz 99.99999999999999999999999999%

  • @saxmanchiro That means your agnostic, not athiest!

  • @Orangejuiceownz Does it really matter? Just labels to me. I was agnostic(if it makes you feel better) for about 4 yrs (6-10yrs old) by then I put sky daddy in the same category as Santa, Tooth Fairy, Easter bunny, Mother goose, Superman, Spiderman, Thor, Leprechauns, etc.

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."- Stephen Roberts

  • @Orangejuiceownz Agnosticism and atheism do not work like that. You are agnostic if you believe you do not know with 100% certainty whether or not your god exists/does not exist. You are atheist if you lie on the "does not exist" end of the spectrum. You can be an agnostic atheist (believes no god is so much more likely than a god), or an agnostic theist (believes a god is much more likely), or a gnostic atheist ("knows" there is no god), or a gnostic theist ("knows" there is a god)

  • @saxmanchiro - What you're describing is blind faith. Not all faith is blind faith. Faith just means believing something even if there is not enough evidence to support it completely or if there is not enough to be rationally sure. Everyone has faith to some degree in something. You probably believe you will come home from work even though rationally the chances of you dying in a car accident, a work accident or by a criminal in the city is high enough that you shouldn't be so sure.

  • @A86 In this context, we are discussing 'faith' in supernatural beings who never show up, never providing us with proof or evidence of their existence whatsoever. To have faith in these beings or dieties, with contradictory evidence to their existence instead, we have religion. That is what we are discussing.

  • @saxmanchiro - Well, whether or not they ever show up is a matter of personal opinion. There are tens of thousands of stories across the world of people supposedly encountering supernatural or non-physical beings. The problem is whether or not you believe them and how many are lying or simply mistaken. Personally, as many people have reported paranormal experiences in some buildings or sites I don't think they're all lying or mistaken, but that's just me.

  • @A86 Our brains are very imaginative.

  • @saxmanchiro - Indeed but I have to doubt that every single one of the thousands of annual cases are all just overactive imigination. I doubt that many people with no historical of psychological issues suffer from undiagnosed schizophrenia. Especially when many nonbelievers also have these experiences and in some cases the subject is not scared or the experience is shared by a group.

  • A86 So these encounters mean what? They had some encounters that could have been natural or explained away with natural causes. No chance to study these experiences so that we can quantify what happened. To jump to a supernatural, god induced 'incident', that's quite a leap.

  • @saxmanchiro - "or explained away with natural causes"

Such as what? Some of them certainly can but all of them? I don't think so. I've never heard any convincing naturalistic explainations for group experiences of people visibly seeing images of people or figures (sometimes solid figures) appearing and interacting with them, sometimes in group experiences. The only "explanation" I've seen is people claiming they must have all been drunk or on drugs even if there is no evidence for this.

  • @saxmanchiro - "god induced 'incident'"

It depends on what you mean by "god" and what you mean by "induced" since that's making some assumptions about what "god" means and what this "god" is capable of doing. It's possible that a god of some sort may exist but not interact with the physical universe or may interact with it in a non-conscious way. Or, some people may view "god" as identical to the universe.

  • @A86 I could have said anything instead of 'god'. In this context, we are discussing a god of some kind. I cannot tell you what is meant by god, since it is subjective and not at all agreed upon by anyone.

  • @saxmanchiro - Well, not everyone argues that paranomal experiences are caused by a "god" to begin with. They may or may not be. The existence of paranormal events doesn't mean a god exists, those are two separate things. The debate about god's existence is even more nebulous since, as you put it, the definition of "god" is subjective to begin with. There's also the problem of how exactly would one prove god exists? What would classify as evidence?

  • @A86 Can't even define 'god' so evidence is pretty difficult to quantify. No starting point.

  • @saxmanchiro well it is free will cuz he gives people the choice to make the decision of following his rules themselves. As obviously shown through you being Atheist, I choose to believe in him and it is my choice, im not controlled to do so. This isnt supposed to cause an argument, im just saying what it looks like from my view

  • @TheDPDance My being an atheist has nothing to do with any god or his/her making the choice for me to choose. Your assertions are baseless and rectally extracted. No evidence, no belief. It's very simple. You follow this principal every second of the day when you make choices in everything you do, say, feel, think, eat, drink. To think that an imaginary friend is overlording you is extremely delusional and dangerous. Keep it away from kids.

  • @saxmanchiro Is there proof that god DOESN'T exist? My understanding of athiesm is that one believe's that there is no god. Since neither athiesm (or theism for that matter) has been proven enough to be established as fact, they are both beliefs.

"No evidence, no belief." I believe there is a LOT more evidence in favor for theism. Not that im opposing your belief in Athiesm btw, but u seem to completely detest those that believe in theism, which imo is complete bigotry

  • @AbstractVice YES! way to Christian it up

  • @AbstractVice I am not claiming there is a god so I am not obliged to prove anything. My position is the default one. I only detest theists pushing their bullshit on others(science class) and trying to control others(laws) based on their beliefs that have no evidence whatsoever. I have been waiting for 45 yrs now and nobody has provided one single shread of evidence for any god. We are both atheists dismissing thousands of other gods. I just add one more to my list.

  • @saxmanchiro well heres the thing about proof, and i get what ur saying completely, but if u think about if, even if a Christian was able to prove the existence of God, then do u think they would tell anyone? Because if they did then that would destroy the purpose of faith. So theoretically if they were to prove their religion right, in turn they'd be killing it off all together.

  • @saxmanchiro i said i didnt want an argument, all i did was show u what this was from the Christian point of view, i never put down ur belief. Yet you still go bash Christianity and call me delusional for believing in a greater power than what is on this Earth. And u go on wondering y we try to push religion when we r constantly harassed for our beliefs and thought to be incompetent for them. And you say theres no evidence, theres also no evidence of the BB. Both our startpoints are unscientific

  • @TheDPDance Let me use a definition to help.

Delusion- 'the persistent false psychotic belief regarding the self or persons or objects, outside the self, that is maintained despite evidence to the contrary.'

Imaginary friends of any kind, put up as real, is delusional behaviour. Please review what Theory(BB, Evolution, Endosymbiosis, Cell, Germ, Gravity etc) means in Science. You should have been taught that in high school. What is your excuse for this ignorance?

  • @saxmanchiro what ignorance? we learned in high school that there is no such solid evidence for the big bang, or evolution. And that they are classified as theories (as is religion) and not facts because of this. So that classifies you as a delusional person as well due to me being able to now call you thinking these theories as facts a false and psychotic belief

    go suck one

  • @TheDPDance Wow. You got ripped off for an education. What country?

  • @saxmanchiro Actually that isnt a rip off, that is a fact, there is no such proof of the big bang or macroevolution. And I went to HighSchool in the US and got my undergrad in BIOLOGY at Oxford University..just for ur information

so as it turns out i do know more about this stuff than you, so just grow the fuck up and stop hating people for their beliefs. Y do u care if I believe in God? Honestly? How does it hurt u if u believe nothing happens when u die anyway? If ur right then nothing changes

  • @TheDPDance If this claim of education is true, what explanation do you have for our current biodiversity? (let's keep it in the life sciences since we are both experts)

How did Eukaryotic cells develop? How about those ERVs? How do you explain those? Oh ya, consider the Euglenoids and their ability to eat or photosynthesize? How about Coevolution of flowering plants and pollenators? How about those pesky Cetaceans having genes in their genome for hind legs? 250k ToE proven hypotheses?

  • @saxmanchiro I take that back. You hate the "idea" of theism, as evident of you calling it "bullshit."

  • @saxmanchiro "false psychotic belief" "false - not true or correct." Since religion hasn't been proven as such, it cannot be deemed "false."

Proof is when a truth can be determined with sufficient evidence. So far, not enough evidence has come to light that would result in religion being justly deemed "false," so you cannot brand theist's as exhibiting "delusional" behaviour when they decide to believe in this.

  • @AbstractVice How do you feel about Thor, Apollo, Zeus, Ra, Vishnu or any of the other thousands of gods put forward by many? Are they all 'correct'? Wrong or false?

  • @saxmanchiro I simply believe that a god (or god's) exists. I am a theist in its most general sense.

What did you hope to achieve with this question?

  • @AbstractVice Which god or gods? Have you chosen yet? Are you a deist or theist? If so, how did you decide? I am genuinely interested in how your mind works and how you came to your theism? Was it through lifelong exposure, recent reading of scripture from any particular book? Was it just a feeling you had ? Was it from others 'showing' you the 'way'? Do all of the gods have powers? How do you know ? Are there proofs out there that tell you this? Are the gods competing, jealous of each other?

  • @saxmanchiro I don't have to choose. I believe that a deity exist's, and as far as we know it's possible . I don't have to "choose" a particular god for me to confirm that belief. I am not a Christian, although I completely understand why they would decide to be like that.

And I never decided. I've always been a Theist, just as you have always been an Athiest. What you're essentially saying is "my way of thinking is better than your's."

  • @AbstractVice Enjoy it. I enjoy a good fictional book but always realize that when I close that book, I am back to reality, a reality that is tangible, real, demonstrable, predictable in many respects(through scientific explanations(Theories) ) and able to be shared with others who have neurosensors that operate. How did you come to this god belief? I would like to know.

  • @saxmanchiro I'm sorry but science requires just as much faith as religion, as you believe what you read in an encyclopedia and assume it is fact, when you really don't know first hand. You're just trusting what you read in the book as you have faith that science is "right"

  • @SpuriousConception As a scientist, I can tell you that your assertions are rectally extracted.

  • @SpuriousConception I believe that what i read in encyclopedia is right because that was PROVED by people using EVIDENCE.

Of course scientist may be wrong from time to time but they are ready to reconciliation with possible refutation of their theory IN CONTRAST TO THEOLOGISTS.

  • @SpuriousConception Faith in religion is completely blind. Faith in science isn't. Simple.

  • @saxmanchiro A theist in it's most general sense is the belief that at least one god exist's, whether it's Thor or Hades is irrelevant.

Do not argue that the bible is scientifically invalid, as that was not its fundamental purpose, rather it's a book that teaches morals and lesson, scientific facts are irrelevant when interpreting it this way.

  • I agree Emil
