I don't think you know what metalcore is dude, you've probably heard like 2 metalcore bands in your life, not every metalcore song is THIS boring and lame and repetitive, not every metalcore song stays in 4/4.

you guys gotta learn that not only complex music with odd time signatures and shreds is the best, there's more than that in music.

@kageda11037 I resent that, I play in a band that could loosely be defined as metalcore. (or loosely defined as METAL like all heavy music should be) I've played guitar to a meticulous technical and theoretical regimen for about 5 years and we use anything from measure-to-measure time sig changes to phrygian/dorian modes and even blues scales. I know there is some god awful metalcore but just because we play breakdowns and harmonized riffs doesnt mean were not talented. Its just what i like.
