I don't know the original version of this song so I'm just hearing what I hear but it's basically just a riff around D, G, and A ... with addition of Em and Bm and stuff like maj7, sus4, and 7th. If you are a beginning guitarist you'd have no trouble playing this song strictly with D, G and A. This isn't exact but it's pretty close to what you are playing (considering I can't see):
