However, this place is located off the coast of the Americas but founded by people near the Mediterranean, which is exemplified in the European-style buildings located throughout. So one can assume many different options of which accent they're screwing up. French, Italian, Russian, maybe even Polish are all possible. I think 'Vie de Marli' is French, but don't quote me on that one.

This game was a disaster. Dante doesn't act like himself. Where did all the smartass comments go? Where is the brash, cocky, perverted son of a bitch I know and love?

Also, his hair's kinda faggy in this and the first game. IMHO, DMC4 Dante was the best. It's amazing what better graphics can do for a character's appeal.

And also, Dante doesn't act like a smart ass in this game, because this game takes place in the distant future, Dante has to be in his 30s in this game. That also explains why he's incredible strong in the storyline (Doesn't break a sweat once in the whole game.)

i dont understand how did developers had made dmc 2 look very empty and gameplay very bad. In DMC1 the environment look very nice as there a lots of happening in there and more colourful, but in DMC 2 its just one colour. I though that they should have improved graphics in later years after DMC1 but opposite happen.

Well, it works out, in DMC 4 (this games prequel) they are working on binding demons to things. They've managed to bind demons to tanks/helicopters then. The way they set the games out does sorta f*ck with your head, pretty annoying imo.

in DMC2 i loved the big maps. at the beginning i hated DMC2 because of how different Dante became... but i started thinking and now i like it.... like, It seems that Dante dislikes saying "JackPot" and the whole Coin thing. I think something Tragic happend that caused Dantes whole personality to change.

No...A LOT of peeople make that mistake..and it is an easy one to make.

But if you think about it, DMC2 is the latest one in the DMC timeline. Several reasons for this. 1) In DMC4 Dante does have a bit of a grizzly look to him, but he isn't older than in DMC2...2) in DMC4 there is no mention of the female character in DMC2, which tells you that she wasn't around for DMC4, therefore DMC2 is after DMC4
