Like them I once thought Rob Leifeld's work was the best. When you look back on it, you realize that this guy can't draw worth a lick. Everything is a splash page, there are no feet, the characters all have grimaces, and big oversized guns are the norm. It was only recently that I found out that Liefeld is a self-taught artist. He never took lessons on how to draw comics, so that really explains his style.

Rob Liefeld seems to be a pretty nice guy though, have you seen his Youtube videos? Also, look up "Rob Liefeld" on google, and it will bring up the most hilarious pic of his drawing of Captain America, and what it would look like shirtless and without the shield, and it really shows how weak his art can be at times.

I've heard he is a nice guy. I don't want you to think I'm a Liefeld hater. Although some of his work does upset me. The beginning of Godessey #1 for example.

I've seen that Captain America rendition many times. It is still hilarious every time I see it. Think I'm going to go look at it again. I always used to laugh at how he couldn't draw feet. Then that naked Captain America rendition came out.
