In WWII the GOVERNMENT surrendered, the people were pissed when that happened, they wanted to keep fighting. @aquabumblebee officially speaking, they have lost about 10 % of their MAJOR Involvements. England hardly had any major involvements(no offence), Germans about 20%, Russians 20%, Austrians 20%, Americans lost 10-15 % partially because they aren't that old and they were hardly involved in anything before WW1. so... PS I am highly knowledgeable on the subject.

In 1871 with the loss angainst Germany the "great" french empire was forever lost and now it's just some poor country waiting to destroy itself by fights between racists and muslims

The United States has been a nation for 237 years and France has been around for a little more then 1500 years so ya in that period of time they most likely won more wars then the U.S. but remember we have never lost.
