What a beautiful vibrant Garhwali mountain folk dance!:)The bansuri music is so melodious too! I read some comments & am surprised that some self proclaimed 'modern' Garhwalis seem ashamed & embarrassed to see something so beautiful from their own culture here on Youtube.That's a shame though for I see NO difference between say the Swiss Alpine ethnic folks I've seen & these Garhwali folks who celebrate their Beautiful Culture, Language, Music & Camaraderie as they should, with Pride & Joy! :)

Although I am not able to understand the language but the music of Garhwal has always attracted me and this is a beautiful composition sung by Negiji. I heard this song for the first time at the bus station in Rishikesh when I was going to Uttarkashi...I just loved its music and the rythm.
