wow galing,,,ang bass,,astig specially ang obligato,,
our conductor sir Wilson John Escaner frm Universty of San Agustine Troubadors,,,once said na maganda dw tong piece lalo na pag madz ang kumakanta tumatayo balahibo ko,,hehehehe God bless po sa inyo ,,insperasyun po nmin kayo
@hiroshiokudada from what i know, it's about a bird whihc was being hunted and was killed. :)) another superb and entertaining performance by madz! =]
Wow... So awesome I like the way on how they used the dynamics in this piece, and because of that it is easy to recognize the story of the song... I love you MADZ you're the best... Oh! I almost forgot to mention, I just want to say hello to him hehehe... Nice singing Enrico, you're my idol : )
i used to gaze at the madrigal singers in tv before, and now in youtube.. and now, im still gazing at them.. LoL!! Enrico lee, you're not just good looking, ur talented pa with a good voice!! :D im a boy, and i do falsetto in our choir group... hahah!! I tried watching MADZ clips here, and gee!! It's really mind wrecking!! its so nice... I really am inlove with the voices of ms. Liaa and ms.Karlene... power talaga!! :D makakasali kaya ako sa madz?? LoL.. i guess sa dreams ko lang.. :D ingat!!
What really hits it off is the last part where they imitated the sound of birds chirping...its INSANE!!!ang galing They are really versatile.Love these guys.I wish I could watch you perform again.
LOL! Galing talaga nila. Maybe that's the reason why they're one of the best in the world. But If I were to ask of your opinion, Which would you prefer from the two versions of the Madz's Pamugun? this one or the slower and more moderate version? Don't want to be too demanding pero since na naitanong ko na naman lang...Why? hehe
I like both versions; the slower version, because it sounds more 'natural', but I also like this one because, in my opinion, it sounds a bit more haunting, and the tempo is...unbelievable.
either way, the Philippine Madrigal Singers performed both versions magnificently, without fail, of course. :)
Nice interpretation...sorry I removed my first comment, I wasn't aware that I was using my sister's account...hahaha..Anyway, I honestly prefer the slower one simply because when I listen to it, I could imagine myself in the middle of a thick forest ...LOL it has (For me, of course...) a more ethnic sound...
You're right, Madz is one, if not, the 'Best' choir in the world...
this is really a fast albeit excellent rendition. the harmony and timing weren't compromised despite the fast rhythm. wonderful job from the best choir in the country!
Hey. I've watched the version of UPSA's Pamugun and also other videos from the competition as well. The Madz have a similar slower version and both the UPSA's and MADz's version were awesome.
Wow!Thanks Enrico for posting this piece. Im a huge fan of MADZ, so proud of you guys. Im not a music expert, just an avid listener of wonderful interpretations of MADZ! You guys are truly Philippines' jewel. National Artist you guys are!!!
i second manumarfs' comment. please post even just an audio recording of the habanera you sang in torrevieja. you'll certainly make a lot of people happy if you do that. thanks.
You're welcome po...It's a great honor to be interacting with a madrigal singer online...hehe. Of course, it was always my dream to join the Madrigal But not all of us are meant to be part of it...LOL. Anyway, good luck on you're career...Long live Madz!!! yehey!
wow, thanks for posting this audio. i hope you would also post the habanera you sang in torrevieja. marvelous! superb control, breath-takinig tempo! :-)
It is a good one.

indeed this is the fastest version of this song I have heard so far. I think the madz sang this na ganito kabilis because of time limit....
