There isn't any justification for this attack. The helicopters can see you from 8 kilometers. This attack was complete deliberated against unwarned Pakistan soldiers in their territory. @baphomet420420420 I think this is coming, Pakistan was pissed with the unauthorised Bin Laden raid incursion into their country and went running to China, who gave them 50 fighter jets as a goodwill gesture. This attack might be the final straw for Pakistan.

@vyperius Agreed. My hope is that if they keep the border closed long enough the situation will deteriorate in Afghanistan for the US and allow the Pakistani and Iranian governments to put more pressure on Karzai who already has his eyes wandering eastward.

Add to this the fact that the US has basically laid the foundations for friendly relations between Iran and Iraq, this part of the region is starting to shape up nicely.

@MrArsalan11 I doubt he was actually there and the raid was a phoney op to bring us a dramatic end to bin laden story, when in reality he has been dead for years. But the raid was "real" in that they did fly helicopters into Pakistan and attack a compound, killed some people, and left before they informed Pakistan. Then they blamed Pakistan for allowing Bin Laden to live there undetected. Pakistan probably thinks its a phoney story too but they dare not say so, instead they allied with China.

The way a country deals with conflict is a direct reflection of it's commitment to it's people, the US is'nt apologizing because the Paks don't care about their citizens. I've followed these events in that region for a while and if dead babies don't make you act out and declare enough then the deaths of 26 poor soldiers won't. It's really sad that life means nothing.
