I saw Hooverphonic when they we're opening act to Massive Attack in Stockholm '98. Really good performance and perfect band to play before MA, and the bass was mindblowing. :)

They didn't break up, Geike just announced she wants to go solo, so Hooverphonic are looking for a new female singer.

Certainly it won't be easy to replace here, but they've done it again when Liesje had to be replaced and look what they came up with (GEIKE).

No, Liesje was only on A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular. From Blue Wonder Power Milk up to The President of the LSD Golf Club it was Geike. However, apparently some versions of BWPM have Liesje on Club Montepulciano (I think one is entirely her vocals, one is Geike and Liesje backing vocals, other one is the other way around - not sure - and I think the one entirely with Geike is the most common). Correct me if I'm wrong!
