Sometimes I really don't understand people, from all of the previews what were people really expecting from this movie? Did people really buy a ticket to see in dept characters and an engaging plot? The previews pretty much said "come check out these cool destruction scenes for 10 bucks", and that's what I got and in droves. Did the plot suck? YES, but that wasn't really the draw of the movie now was it? it's time to admit why some people see these movies in the first place.

Not only that, the trailers clearly pointed out that the director of this film (Roland Emmerich) was the same as Independance Day and The Day After Tommorrow.
