@SupraWes Actually, If they didn't put you under by default, I would ask for it. The thought of having to stay awake while people are making a movie out of your colon is very scary.
Very timely video Gary. I just dropped off my pre-op forms to the gastro doc yesterday. Having turned 50 a few months ago, my time has come. I even had him put me on the cancellation list, so I can get the procedure done sooner. I've been watching Imasofat beer related vids for months now. Never thought I'd see one from you on this topic. Glad it all turned out well... So this "No Alcohol" thing... that is more of a suggestion than a requirement right? ;) hehe, I'm with Gary, I don't think they really consider beer as alcohol anyway...
My Dr. told me that beer and martinis were clear liquids.....really pissed his nurse off. . Good advice to all. Sally and I give the Mrs. a thumbs up for not just giving you cab fare.

Dude, when I had mine done they gave me this saline kind of laxative that was sooooo hard to drink, it was like way strong salt water.
