this movie was creepy on many levels, but I enjoyed it to the fullest. There's just some eerie things in the world that no matter how much you try, you cant cringe or look away...and for a filmmaker to do that is exceptional! Guy Maddin has become one of my favorites :)

Was "Mother" a pedophile? Some parts of this movie made me cringe. It's a beautifully done film though.

i have to say it was pretty weird, but it was interesting. it seemed very original, unique, and creative. not the weirdest film ive seen so far, but one of them for sure. it was really like nothing ive ever really seen before. strangely original.

I saw this in May--the live version in NY and loved it. Eli Wallach narrated! It became an Eli Wallach film, though, at least for me, and I suspect I'll enjoy the regular version evern more--next week at the Pioneer in NY.

This I can say with much certainty has been the most bizarre and twisted movie I've ever seen in my life. I won't say that I was sorry I saw it, but it was bizarre none-the-less.
