Haha an XY machine? I think those are called CNC lathes.

@macuser7080 And they usually call the axes X and Z. The Z axis on a lathe goes left and right (towards and away from the spindle).

i have to correct one thing a lighter bat will no cause you to hit the ball farther,in fact it will actualy cause you to loose distance.
