It's unfortunate she doesn't but if you think about it, taeyeon, jessica, tiffany, sunny, and seohyun all have EVEN BETTER voices. hell, even hyoyeon, yuri, and yoona have amazing voices (i really like yuri's, its SOOO smooth), there's just too much talent in the group to give everyone enough lines, lol.

In my opinion, I think the reason why sooyoung is considered not having the best voice is cause this is how she learned to sing, so this style still stuck with her... I actually like her voice though, it just probably doesn't fit as well with Kpop than Jpop..

Woah, Sooyoung's voice when she was younger was different. But that's high-pitched tone is really popular in Japan, but people don't like it much in korea. It must've been hard for her to relearn her singing style after debuting in SNSD.

If you listen to JPOP songs, all (most) singers have that bubblegum pop feel into it while KPOP singers have more soul.
