Great video. On a lighter note: I will NEVER, EVER forget Sheppard's blooper during a game at Yankee Stadium in the summer of 1982.  He had accidentally left his microphone on while Shane Rawley was pitching in relief for the Yankees. When Rawley subsequently gave up a bases-clearing triple, Sheppard blurted the following words over the PA: "THAT'S RELIEF PITCHING FOR YOU! BOY!". Naturally, he had to apologize profusely to Rawley in the Yankees' clubhouse the next day. ;-)

Boy, did you tug at my heart with this vid. Sheppard is truly one of the greats--belonging to the group of Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, and Dimaggio. The voice of God he was. R.I.P., Bob Sheppard. The Yankees miss you dearly.
