  • love it great work

  • I don't speak english, but: Wooooowwww 0.O (from Brazil)

  • Does anybody know where to get one of these? Since YAMAHA discontinued them?

  • Awsome !

  • wow nice sound electric guitar :D

  • @xRezarth Thanks! I like it too!

  • what the most powerful workstation ?

  • @drnubian It's debatable, but I believe its the Yamaha Motif XS

  • Really cool... I like it, the Motif ES is still my favourite!

  • What is the name of the electric guitar patch you used to play the chords, and is that a factory preset on the MOTIF ES?

I use a Korg M1 with the Invision Plus One board to play power chords sampled from a Les Paul through a Messaboogie amp via my Keytar. I've used it with my rocks bands for years as a 2nd guitarist and it's worked well, but I'm looking for a backup solution in case something happens to it. Your patch here might work the same way.

  • @nategoulet Everything you hear is factory set on the keyboard. The guitar that was heard was the CrunchyGuitar. I modified the pitch wheel to go up or down 2 notes and then muted the feedback sound so all you hear is the guitar. Honestly, what you've described sounds way better than what my 2 minute patch would do.

  • Not bad overall, but you play drums like an octupus. For realism, be aware that an actual drummer doesn't hit 3 cymbals and a snare at the same time. Thanx for postin it though, nice job.

  • @Myuzishin Yeah I know, but it sounds cool right? lol

  • thanks for upload

  • how did you learn to make the drums like that :X ?

  • @deacadi Years of practice my friend. I thank my days growing up with Casio.

  • when on a metronom, how do u ritard. or change the tempo while playing?

  • @eigrem in "song" or "pattern" mode use the arrows under your big dial and highlight tempo in the screen it defaults on 120...or ....next to your 4 knobs in the upper left side of motif are 3 L.E.D's, the top row and first knob on the right is "tempo" make sure top L.E.D is lit and turn the 1st knob side to side to break the threshold....make your setting...

  • You are a friggin geeen-yuss!

  • witch drum?

  • Nice work, dude! :D

  • the most powerful workstation in the ES' generations is the Korg Oasys . and ofcourse this workstation has been replaced by the beautiful Motif XS. though, having played both the XS and ES my self. the ES had more punch, and compression out of the box. but, with a little tweaking the XS is crystal clear, and has just as much presence as the ES. though, i miss my add on boards so much

  • Damn hommie you ah one man band on that motif! Tight work!¡!

  • Loved it!

  • You said second most powerful, what is the first?

  • First Motif (without ES, XS in name)

  • he said it's the second most powerful 'cause he's playing with the motif ES7. The most powertul would be the MOTIF ES8, which also is the biggest one.

  • you idiot. they both are as powerful, just because one is bigger than the other dont mean squat, its the same engine fool.

  • @angel200790 That's true, but I was thinking the most powerful is the Motif XS.

  • Nice job!

  • rly good. keep working m8 :) im a fan :D

  • HELP! one question, i was thinking of getting a triton studio 61 key, but it has no usb just cd and floppy, HOW do i send the beat that i made on a triton or ANY workstation and port it to the computer ( do i need usb for that) or how please help!!!

  • The Triton studio has a CD writer in it so you could use that or buy a SCSI to USB adapter. I bought one from adaptec and it does a fine job. The Triton studio and the Motif es or Xs are a great combination to have!

  • thats how ican transfer the whole beat or the sounds?

  • I also own the Motif, your vid prooves that its a really great keyboard and this song is really nice ! you play drums very well with a keyboard its not so easy ! 5/5

  • Very nice! I have a motif 6, A-90 Roland 88 Keys, Alesis Ion for synthesis and then my twin has a whole studio of vintage stuff! Hehe. I love how you play the drums on your keyboard- like I do. I've noticed many people don't play the drums themselves- they will loop stuff one part at a time and the song tends to be really repetitive. Anyways- awesome work. Have a listen to our stuff from the motif under the name Jumelle Music.

    Rock on!

  • Thank you. Who needs sequencers? :) I love playing keyboard drums. The Motif ES has unbelievable drum sounds. I personally believe that the drums are key to a great song.

  • @Yoshiko11 Hey thanks a lot man! It means a lot!

  • sounds pretty good i just got a awesome deal on motif es 6 for 350 dollars like new guy was going to army so good luck for him and god bless all army soldiers any ways im learning how to use fx on things lol.

  • 350 damnnn

  • THAT SOUNDS LIKE A PROFESSIONAL BAND!!! Sounds great, I wish I had a piano like yours.

  • @riosalbert7 It'll happen. I never thought I would get the ES7. But then guitarcenter gave me a price I couldn't refuse.

  • i wished you used a less common progression, but the lead was good.

  • Awsome dude. Great sound Love it. I'm also a proud owner of an es7. All the same. Keep up the good playing.

  • Kurna chata - dobry jest :)

  • Your are a very nice keyboard player!!!

    Great!!!

    5/5

  • Man, what a nice guitar sound! I love it!

  • Wow man, that was awesome. I'm always impressed with what you can do with that keyboard (unless you're showing me all this stuff for 3 hours at a Guitar Center!). Keep it up!

  • @FIRSTTeam2526 Thanks Ryan

  • Yeah! Great job. I, too, own an ES-6. They really are amazing. I agree -- keep posting, guys! Cheers!

  • amazing stuff. I have a MOTIF es6 as well. Your music is very good. Check my video "Flor De Mar" , which I made solely on my MOTIF ES6. Keep uploading;)
