Soundtrack is the only part I liked of this movie. Sorry, but turning Sherlock Holmes into a one-liner spouting action hero destroys the entire point of his character.

I probably would have completely adored this film if it was called "Herlock Sholmes", and didn't pretend to be about the greatest detective ever, and was just about yet another smart guy who just happens to be good at action.

I would say that this great song mirror's Holmes's mind throughout the movie and during a case. Starts quiet and in the dark, then jumps into a loud banging and frantic racing of various ideas through his head like so many strange instruments. Some of the clanks and bangs make it seem like an incredible machine. Then it rises to a climax as the case comes to a head and the villain is caught. Then it ends where it started with the same quiet theme before another case starts. It even has a violin.
