Aprox how much would steel drums like that cost? And what do you recommend for me to get as a beginner? I'm SUPER interested in this.

for a beginner I(as a pro player as well) would recommend that you look for a PAINTED set of Double seconds, they painted set might cost you around 1500-2000, Where as a Chromed set like His^ would drive you up to like 2000-3500( unless u have connections and can get a chrome set for less). GOOD LUCK, i hope you can join us in our community of panists!

Whoa!!! It's really that expensive? Well... who gives a turkey. It's gonna be worth it. Steel pans arent that big here in Sweden. But both me and a good friend of mine have talked about moving to Florida. Where I doubt it will be a problem lol. It's something I'm really gonna try and aim for. @Mattsana A good pan would be more around 500 to a 1000. the easiest one to start on is the spider web lead/tenor. if you pay over 800 though you're probably getting ripped off
