The only reason some people have bad trips is because they expect to. ...and weed doesn't cause a tar build up in the lungs like cigarettes do yet cigarettes are still legal. the only time someone dies from marijuana use is when they start mixing it with other drugs (eg. blunts dipped in embalming fluid, etc.). The main reason I've personally seen is because of bad judgement. They decide to get high without a designated sober buddy to stop them from doing stupid things (doesn't only happen with drunks). No one has ever overdosed from weed either
