  • the Teen Masters from Las Vegas... kinda cruel don't you think?

  • I dont get it where is the speed the balls rotation is weird I am a girl I'm 13 and throw 14 or 15 everytime my ball never goes this straight they look so akward

  • @DuckPinBowling95 Different style of bowling. Not everyone wants to be a cranker and need rotator cuff surgery at the age of 25.

  • i am not joking when im saying this but i bowled danielle mcEwian in a junior's bowling tour tournament in 2009, the same year she won this

  • why do girls always throws the ball like it is going to harm you if you get rev and some speed? every girl i've seen play, always going for a straight line... i dont get it ? someone link me when a girl revs

  • my school has a highschool bowling team, but the weird thing is that im the only left-handed bowler on my team.

  • @themaggotking1 We are in the same situation xD I'm the only lefty in our bowling team :P

  • this is ghetto... there're people manually pick up the ball and restack...

  • VRTY - we did not use a machine for a number of reasons, but primarily because having a machine sitting over the pins makes it very difficult for anyone other than the bowlers to see all 10 pins. Even fans sitting along side the lane can't see the corner pins when a machine is in place. By using pin boys and girls to set the pins, everyone, including those looking down from the upper level of the mall were able to watch the ball hit the pins! ;)

  • @gbkillerb Aren't the kickbacks the main things in the way?? The machine doesnt block view from anything really.. - a pinsetter mechanic

  • @cwhite32avc - Only for those who are sitting floor level close to the pins. Remember, this event was staged in the Great Hall of the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. Fans were able to watch from the 2nd level upstairs. If there had been a pinsetter/pinspotter, those lines of sight would have been completely blocked.

In a normal bowling center setting, the main obstacles to lines of sight are the cover over the ball return present near the pin beck in A2 installations and the masking units.

  • Hello CFW....there was absolutely, positively oil on the lane. The higher seeded bowler was allowed to pick either the Teen Masters Long pattern (42') or the Teen Masters Short pattern (35'), then Kegel put it on the lane.

  • no oil.. lame ;)

  • The girl in the red is hot

  • y are they not using machine to rerack?

  • Now I understand what you were saying. You are correct - you do not need to be on a high school team to compete in the Teen Masters. Please give my regards to Steve when you see him. :)

  • I wish my school had bowling as a sport but there is a youth bowling community league so I go to that one. Only if they allow me because I'm a high school student who really wants to go to Teen Masters.

  • Hey Steve @TheRealNotSteve - so you wish you had high school bowling in your school but you question who wants to bowl in America's premier high school championship event that will award its overall winner a $64,000 college scholarship on a special lane built in Grand Central in New York City?

  • @gbkillerb But don't you have to be in a high school bowling team to be in Teen Masters? When I said "who really wants to go to Teen Masters" It wasn't a question, it was a statement for whoever wants to do this, can do this not just being on a high school bowling team, but being a high school bowler overall. Oh and I am seriously not Steve. It's a long story.

  • id be so pissed if i were the pin setter people... like 2 seconds after i set up the pins they all get knocked down, how frustrating... at least they get a sick view of the match and danielle lol, shes pretty hot... good thing ill prob never get the chance to go out with her... i dont think id be able to handle my girlfriend being better at bowling than me lol

  • Unlike pins set by machine from above, these pins were handset onto spikes that come up from the pin deck, so each pin is perfectly centered when the spikes retract into the deck. Much more precise in placement than machines and thus no need for reracks.

  • Are they allowed to ask for a rerack? :)

  • I am goin to bowl it this year i live pretty close to Catherine

  • this year its in jersy the finals

  • danielle what a babe

  • i bowl with catherine, shes really good

  • Catherine Rawsthorne has like no rotation

  • Try to watch between 4:08 and 4:10 and yo can very quickly see the pegs pop up from the pindeck. It is a simple copy of one of the early aids for pin boys where they simply stood on a small pedal at the back of the pindeck about half way down between the pindeck and the pit and pushed the pedal and placed each pins hole they have on the bottom of the pin on top of the peg release the pedal and presto just as good as far as being on spot are the pins as the automatic machine....

  • katherine is a using an ebonite lanebreaker and danielle is using a roto grip rogue cell. i saw danielle bowling 3 weeks ago at a bowling near me she was bowling for college ncaa torunament

  • whos making sure those pins are 100% on spot. ????

  • @compkiduser When they had the women's exhibition here 4 years ago, there were pegs that came out from underneath the lanes, and they put the pins on those, and then removed the pegs before the women bowled.. I'm thinking that's what they did here.

  • pinboys? in 2009? in a masters tournament? oh my...
