Lou Reed. try a song called "Heroin". the difference is, Julian is way more of a real rock star, has better style, is more attractive, is capable of more impressive vox (Machu Picchu) and his music is the opposite of Lou Reeds. rather then depressing eye opening tunes, his is upbeat alternative. so Julian Casablancas voice is not original, but his music will still stand the test of time :D

This is my fav ever strokes song!!! First impressions of earth is my fav album though. It's so under rated. With regard to their latest album I do like it but I feel for song writers as they come under such scrutiny once they've established themselves. So much is expected of them. I think their music changes in sync with them changing as people and as a band. They can't please everyone. Imagine a world without these people though.......... Now that would be shite x
